This was hard to watch. My younger bro always looked up to our older bro who is a year apart from me. This bro turned to drugs lost his family got his wife to be alcoholic. I warned her not to be with him but she didn't listen. She died a while back. Broke my ❤
The younger bro worked his butt off for his 4 kids. His wife left him and he was a single father. His ungrateful kids all left him even tho he had his own trucking business and gave them money. When they left he was alone.
As older sis I told him to live with me and relax. But he was so bitter, angry. Mom and dad didn't help but I did what I could do as I was divorced raising my 3. Our 7 kids were so close but his drifted apart when teens..one went to prison, 2 are homeless, the other moved out of state.
Younger bro got sick as u can't hold all that anger in. It tears you apart. Our parents died, bro kidneys failed as he never took care of himself. Drug addict bro even went over and hit younger bro now in wheelchair.
I had a meeting with both of them. I told older bro he needs to apologize as u can see younger bro is sick. What the hexx wrong with you??? He said a weak sorry and left. Little bro started crying sounded like Ragnar.
He was 💔 broken. He died of a stroke and had to pull the plug. That was August 10 2018. I lost my job in 2019 before covid. I started early retirement got reduced housing and doing better than when I was working.
All I'm saying is: don't let people break you. We are all imperfect and make errors. Just own up to them do better help and move on. I'm alone now. My drug addict bro is not fam anymore. Even when I was a kid I knew I would be alone. But I do have my 3 children who look out fore esp the youngest. And that's a good thing.

Rollo has always felt too much envy for Ragnar, he has always felt too inferior and surpassed by him in everything. Ragnar had intelligence, strategic ability, charisma in charming the people around him and Lagherta's love. Surely Rollo is a little dead inside at that moment too, because he knows well that he is still alive only thanks to Ragnar, but having finally reached the power he had always wanted, he is too tied to that power to return to being Ragnar's shadow.

And it showed in how he fought never scared of death or carried a shield in battle and it was that bravery of a finished man that brought him hope. What’s exceptionally tragic is the end end… when we learn that Bjorn is perhaps not Ragnars’ true born son. Rollo betrayed his brother in damn near every way. Rollo always wanted a position of authority and influence, but Ragnar didn’t want it. Ragnar was forced into kingship by lesser men who acted out of jealousy and had to kill to survive. Rollo, because of Ragnars’ mercy, gets a seat as Duke and has all he wanted but nothing he needs. Ragnar only ever wanted to live on his farm with those he cared for and loved. That’s why Ragnar allowed himself to be captured and executed… he had nothing left to live for.
