Yes, it's definitely forsythia. When I see these yellow bushes in the spring, I try to recall their name. In Russian it sounds almost the same as in English, and it's quite a rare word. So it's kind of a way to check if my brain is still working properly.😎 Thanks to you, Bob, I passed the memory test this year before forsythia bloomed here. And in a week or two I will repeat the test with English version of pronansiation. Thanks again, have a good rest of the week. 👍
Hi, Aleksey. You changed your thumbnail, didn't you? Riding on a dirt bike. Wow, looks good.😊 I'm glad that you passed the memory test of yellow bushes. Have a nice day!!
@@noriko244 Hi Noriko! Yes, I changed the thumbnail. Thank you! Tomorrow I'm going to start the cycling season. They promise it will be raining, so if not dirt, then mud is guaranteed. 😎Have a great day too!
I used to say "Sounds good/bad" for everything. Like, when I smell something from the kitchen, when I sit on nice couch. I should've said "Smells good./Feels good." Beginners mistake, I guess.😅 I do enjoyed scatterbrained lesson. Have a nice weekend 😁🍀🌞
3:45 I know what it's like😂. I'm always pleased when you explain the meaning of the things and after that, walk around to show us the farm to see how things are going on. Thanks for the lesson, Bob!
Well, as a matter of fact, this “scatterbrained” lesson did help me quite a bit and not only to learn but also to smile and relax. Man, you really are in the business of happiness! ☺️👕🌵
Scatterbrained !! Such a word. I have to check it out. Thanks for the great video. I can watch your live stream only tomorrow. I don't start it now because I could not stop. Have a great weekend!
Hi teacher Bob! 🖐️😎 I am very pleased that you chose my comment. It sounds good to know that somewhere far away there is a dedicated teacher who takes the time to help us improve our English, responds to our comments with sincerity and cares about us. 💯♥️🤩👍 Thank you so much for this unique lesson! Have a great day! Bye 👋😊🌹💐♥️
It sounds a good idea to pick up Chinese food after work because you get to save some time and money. Usually it’s much more expensive if you eat out .🎉😊
You sound and look good, Bob, charging us all for the week! As for clothes, when they say "Clothes don't make the man", I think about teachers😂 Not so true, yeh? Clothes count! You can never be overdressed in your trade🤝 Big thanks💥♥️🌳🌈
Hello Bob Canadian! How are you doing today have a wonderful weekend and I'm so into yo.l'm watching you in Haiti.God bless and protect you so much.l learn a lot with you my coach l so do love English
Sounds good, doesn't sound bad at all! 👍 plaid /plæd/ = a thick cloth with a pattern of lines and squares of different colours and widths (source: Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary)
Hello Bob, so do you have special clothes for working on your farm, like overalls or something like that, or do you just use some of your old shirts and pants? (🤔) Btw, that reminds me of something you mentioned once that you don't like it when your dogs jump up on you in the morning because you don't want your school clothes to get dirty and then you have to change again 😘. Thanks for the new lesson, Bob. Have a great day. 🐕👔🏫
That is correct. I have different clothes for the farm. They are a collection of older clothes and specific farm clothes. Sometimes I wear older jeans that aren't good to wear in public anymore on the farm. 😎🚜🐕
@@bobsshortenglishlessons That's a good combination and a good solution for older clothes 😎. I guess the choice depends on what work you have to do on your farm. But if I remember correctly you've never worn your special farm clothes in one of your videos. (Or maybe I just missed it 😅.) Anyways, thank you very much for your reply Bob. It's nice to have you back on your second channel ❤. I wish you a wonderful rest of your day. 🌾🚜🌤
Hi, teacher, Bob! I reaaly don't know if it's a silly question, but could you explain the difference between " catch up in" and "get carried away", please?
