Liked this video. I am new to digital modes long time SSB guy but ventured out due to all the reasons you stated. I have Winlink and use Vara HF via my Yeasu 710. Only made contact to myself in test mode this week. I will move toward JS 8 call and Vara c. Thank you for this video. Tyler KF5ETZ
As I sit here today on Fathers Day 2024 just having finished watching the video the ending was perfect and I so agree we can all do better, hug the kids and hig the wife and I know I will do better.

Nice breakdown. I do Winlink but want to learn VARA AC and maybe FLdigi too.
Turn off that annoying background sound and I will listen to what you say. Otherwise....bye......
You may need an interface like a signalink or a digirig in order to interface your radio and computer
