This makes smaller ameobas dissipate faster than larger ones. Also, when it kills a player or other similar entity, it transmutes them into more of itself, as a way to sustain itself. It could also do this with other breakable props like watermelons. This gives them a sort of "hunger" which they can sate by "eating" players and other stuff.

when playing I felt like the marathon specifically followed the player, I once stood behind a wall and went left to right, the marathon variant followed me every time I tried this, maybe it's just a coincedence but I tried taking breaks between moving left to right so it's not a constant move

It's trying so hard to simulate that it just "spasms" everywhere, that's why it looks like it's moving on its own
i accidentally made one, which i didn't found out i even made one until i set the liquid fps to 30, i can't come up with a name right now, but its original name was "jelly", it's odd because it stays together and moves slowly, trying its best to stay in one coherent blob instead of exploring like the first one.
