Please stay with StL for 2025, Goldy. Except that you haven't played your entire career in StL, I see a lot of parallels between you and Stan Musial's career. While Stan played his entire career in StL, he had a bit of a dip in performance a few seasons before he retired, but came back from it. I believe since July 1, you've been coming back from your own bit of a dip. And like Stan, you haven't let those tough days at the plate offensively affect your defensive play in the field.
Fans in StL will be glad to see you go into Cooperstown as a Cardinal.

If the rumors are true, we will be saying goodbye to Goldy. Going to miss him if that's the direction the team chooses to take.

I feel like he knows he’s not going to be a 2025 Cardinal…maybe I’m just projecting that sentiment onto his words but it feels like he’s looking back at his Cardinal career, not forward.

Goldy seems like a nice guy. Shame he has become a guess hitter who fails so much when most desperately needed. Goldy and Arenado have brought us. Nothing. Time to move on. Goldy is a multi-millionaire. He will be fine. Our team, with Goldenado won’t. Time to move on. Give the kids a chance.
