Future of this series: Part 13: Doom Coalition 1 + Diary of River Song 1 (thought I'd do it all cause why not?) Part 14: Doom Coalition 2 + 3 Part 15: Doom Coalition 4 + The time war Got a couple of other BF boxsets I wanna do first though. Next will be the 10th dr adventures :)
When this series first started i admit i was one of the unfortunate ones who didnt see the appeal in big finish but since I've started to listen to them and have became to see just how floored the new series is, so glad to see this series has been extended for the doom coalition sets and diary of river song! looking forward to more big finish reviews to come :D
+Stubagful death in the family is my favourite Dr who story of all time but it does need a lot on context to it which is what makes it so good in my mind
OK. I must be either weird or I must be missing some big important bits or...I dunno - because I find DE neither confusing nor convoluted nor terribly overwhelming in terms of technobabble. And yeah, I like the whole series better than NEDA. (And I really enjoyed the ending of DE4. Lucie Miller/To The Death *is* more of a punch in the guts, so is The Girl Who Never Was - but I find the DE finale a lot better than 'just satisfactory'...) Still, the review was a pleasure to watch, as always...:-)
I personally loved Rule of the Eminence, but I understand that I love the whole of Dark Eyes to a weird extent............ It's probably my favourite of the box set, Ok it's tied with the Reviled, because I adore Liv Chenka
What were the behind-the-scenes issues with Dark Eyes? Can you do a video elaborating on what you know? I realise you're not privy to any insider information or anything that I couldn't find myself with a quick Google search, but your take on it will at least be entertaining.
Stuart, if you're reading this after like 5 years, I still think "Why would the Master want to become everyone else, I thought he say 'I am the Mastur and u will obei me'" is a very silly criticism, because, what freakin difference does that make to the Master if his brainless puppets look like him or not?
Oh this day has turned out to be awesome! Sunny and beach for the 1st time this summer, i found a copy of Lungbarrow and Stu video!!! Are we ever gonna get novel reviews?
the loss of ruth bradly was a torpedo into the side of darkeyes. i thought 3 and 4 were ok the masterplan was pretty darn good . i have grown to really like a life in a day but could have been a main range entry. alex macqueen is a gift to doctor who fans,
Matt Fitton wrote State of Bliss which is the worst episode the 8th Doctor ever took part in. But I did like Time's Horizon and a few others. He's very hit or miss for me. Either it's great or it's terrible.
My Mini Reviews of Dark Eyes 3 + 4 Dark Eyes 3 All I'm gonna say is I really struggled and now I know the behind the scenes problems I can see why,I was listen to the BtS on the 3 year anniversary Dark Eyes 4 A Life in the Day -really enjoyed it such a great fun idea The Monster of Montmartre -fun cool Dalek idea,a bit like The Sliver Turk but Daleks Master of the Daleks- i dunno what happen but like 8 I was confused Eyes of Darkness- TECHNO BABBLE
This is my first proper big finish video where I am now a big finish fan I've listened to about 50 this time and most of the first 50 I've decided to focused on 6,7 and 8s stuff Does anyone have an 6 or 7 audios they would recommend?
7-they are on my list 6-all listened to apart from The Last Adventure And after this video I will probably but Creatures of Beauty since Stuart has said twice that it's really good but I'm not a big fan of 5 so I'm not as willing to take risks with him
79.03.13 even if your not a fan of 5 spare parts is a must listen. it is soooo good. i dont like the 5th doctor either and spare parts is my favorate big finnish story

This comment applies to now, more than ever! :)
6:49 Go home, moon. You're drunk.
Speaking of Alex Macqueen; The Two Masters was fucking awesome
Would you ever consider doing the black and white Tardis set as in my mind there some of the best Dr who stories ever
that has occured to me, i loved death in the family. I'll need to work out all the releases that fit in with it, I know I've got most of them :)
+Stubagful death in the family is my favourite Dr who story of all time but it does need a lot on context to it which is what makes it so good in my mind
Eddie Davey having finish mostly that arc
Yes YEs YES
YES YES YES
The Two Masters trilogy, Novel Adaptations, Destiny of the Doctor, Companion Chronicles and (of course) Sixie and Evelyn. How about it, Stu?
When I first saw dark eyes I knew that molly wasn’t in doom coalition, but I grew so attached for some reason and was praying that she’d be alright.
No mention of Narvin Dark Eyes 3!
Awesome review!

Right, now that's done...
You may have to do Doom Coalition...
I don't want to hear you wing about DC2, but I know you will
Yeeeeeah that was a dissapointment. Only thing i felt bad about along with Death and the Queem this year. The rest of releases have beem top notch!
TheJaviferrol The best thing about DC2 was the sound design

I think I've picked up on your sourness.
I'm eating a bowl of Raspberries.

So why did Molly leave again?
Just kinda curious cause I had no idea what the background drama was
Basically Ruth was doing a movie in America and the movie ended up not happening in the end also she had Humans
Oh this day has turned out to be awesome! Sunny and beach for the 1st time this summer, i found a copy of Lungbarrow and Stu video!!!
Are we ever gonna get novel reviews?
What you found a copy of Lungbarrow

the loss of ruth bradly was a torpedo into the side of darkeyes. i thought 3 and 4 were ok the masterplan was pretty darn good . i have grown to really like a life in a day but could have been a main range entry.
alex macqueen is a gift to doctor who fans,
As a man who as listened to every Dark Eyes I can say that the first one is the best one. (The others are... meh)
1 and 2 were my favorites, but I thought 4 was great too
Matt Fitton wrote State of Bliss which is the worst episode the 8th Doctor ever took part in. But I did like Time's Horizon and a few others. He's very hit or miss for me. Either it's great or it's terrible.
