Bulgaria. May, finally Sunny Beach begins to fully open !

- We have been waiting for this, the big players like Fat Cat, Euphoria and Glarus are preparing to have a party to bring in the 2024 summer season . I walk the front and show final preparations being made to open. Weather has been cooler than normal for May but we are promised heat this week again.
They are putting the sun loungers on the beach ready for you to chill and relax on the Sunny Beach shore in Bulgaria on the Black Sea.
The planes are waiting to bring you on your holiday, fantastic!

Great to see everything opening, last year had the best food in Aura, the salads are delicious. Looking forward to 6 weeks time, be there again
The owner gave me some home made sausages and ribs from his pig recently, delicious.

We like most European resorts have had a cold northerly front, we will after that have it nice. Make most of your bit of pleasant weather in the UK you know it's normally pretty short lived.

Just watched a vlog by travel with Col filmed on the 16’th near the end you and Susan walk past him and I noticed Susan was carrying the heavy looking bag
When I am using the tripod with the camera mounted it can be tricky to move around . I do the distances with the bag.

It closed in covid, a couple of attempts made to get it going. The guys who took it on last year didn't even clear weeds, pick litter or clean the windows they had no idea. Our friends have taken a beach bar this year and they do it properly. We are doing something special with them , keep watching!
There's usually a cracking Fish and chip shop in Sveti Vlas,just above the Marina!
It might be just temporary every year (May-Oct).
Its all seasonal, Vlas is more closed than SB in winter not even the supermarket stays open but we do Sunny Beach in these videos and we are always being asked about a proper chippy lol. We have heard of a new Indian in SB, nothing concrete yet. We will ask our vlas friends and put it in if we film there. Its a bit like trying to explain that this is not Benidorm.
I remember seeing that guy with the violin last year when I was in the corner bar haha
A fixture, he is not a great singer but I know nothing about violins, I think it needs tuning.

They have been doing some painting on the back last week, today we saw guys starting on the front. Expect it will open by June 1st. Am I right its the big one with a big terrace upstairs?

The Serbian grill opposite the supermarket is open and valencia. The rebuilt one is now open as well.

It's nearly finished, was called the fiesta beach and also marlin in the past.i have filmed it many times in renovation . It is northern end next to the majestic.

Yes ahead of sunny beach. Basically the old town is full on now.

Yes, soon as the Crossroads opens next few days and we possibly will mix them up a bit with another location for variety.

Of course, we were chatting to Wayne Dooler yesterday he was outside the melii hotel and is., very busy he has a big fleet. Sunny beach mobility hire limited.
No problem to eat the whole Black Sea sprat fish with the head. It usually is consumed with very cold beer 🍺 Tell Susan to assume it as eating chips 😃 The fish soup is a must! 🐟

Why you never film a shops around luna park and also hotel Neptun
We did last year showing the jewelry shop and others. We were filming in the fashion shop next to the Neptun today The shops and stalls generally all sell the same things as each other and as the goods are illegal being fake it is not easy to film, we see you tubers doing it secretly which is unfair to the traders, we always ask permission which is obviously normally refused so a shopping video takes planning

It is so cold here. For all last weeks, I have been wearing my sweater here. It does not seem to be warm here at all, unfortunately.

Spiders is the best in town but they don't open till the 24th, they were only 6 leva last year but you will be looking around 9 leva average.

If we eat a English breakfast, it's very rare. We filmed that one for the video. We might do a roast Sunday lunch video at some point, we were going to do it last year, got to the restaurant then decided a sizzler was much better. Shocked yesterday to see 21 leva for breakfast on flower street, crazy it's half that off the strip

@@BackSeatHump Yes there are good prices elsewhere. We love Iris restaurant and similar to last year. Lira at the back is great value . Most will be open on or by 24th when schools have broken up here on the 23rd but we will do the video when we see a reasonably priced one lol
Been here once wouldn't ever go back not very friendly especially to kids not that cheap either not that pretty or scenic very disappointing tbh £8.40 for two jd and coke that expensive
It is expensive on flower street and on the front, these are doubles here of course, susan had a small beer me a coffee in this one, its the the same as the central part of any resort,. If you had watched my videos before coming you would have known imported spirit is about three times the cost of local and never drink on flower street, we have a beer only then walk five minutes where it's half. Family is big here they do a lot for children and they have fun outside, learn music and folk traditions, computer gaming isn't a big thing for them as it's like going back 40 years back home. Children here are well behaved and respectful of their parents and show the same to a policeman, teacher or priest and we found that refreshing. However we met people with problem children and staff everywhere went out their way to help.
The resort isn't pretty, built for a purpose but tourists should go two miles to Nessebar a world heritage site. Back two miles is a. national park with forests, mountains, we have bears, wild boar ,eagles and wolves, many wild horses to see with few people. We always take our visitors out in the fantastic nature They do 4x4 trips, jeep safari or quad biking behind our home up the mountain, ,SB is the limit of Bulgaria many tourists see they then return home disappointed.

bacardi bar is shite, rip u off big time, its more expensive than my local in manchester!!, nice place but rip you off, make there own prices up at night time, have done for years, its the most expensive place in sunny beach
Had so many requests to show it, same as Fat Cat. You can take your pick we love the Iglika and Spiders but others on holiday will pay to be on the front and Flower street. Its a holiday and many want to be in the middle of it.
