The most electric joker that's ever played that position. Barry Sanders like agility and elusiveness, with the natural arm talent of Dan Marino. This joker was literally the closest thing I've seen to Michael Jordan on the football field. A straight one man band. If you gave Mike a solid defense, he could carry whoever he had on the offensive side of the football, to consistent team Ws. I've never seen one man affect a football game, like this brotha did. Salute to one of the greatest to have ever graced the gridiron.

Bruh Mike Vick was nasty!!! When you seen the number 7 attached to a Falcons Jersey you already knew what time it was. Legendary player fuck the off field issues. This dude was a regular street dude who just so happened to have the ability to be a pro qb. Everybody emulated Vick on the field back in the day. From the jukes, cutting, and just smoking dudes we wanted to be like Vick. Insane talent. I'm more impressed by his rocket arm then his speed.

Been watching football 30 years and have yet to see anyone as physically blessed to play the position as he was . Had the strongest arm I've seen yet. And yes stronger than Marino Favre george you name it . Vicks bullets were ridiculous he just flicked it and it was a cannon . Could throw it 85 yards . Mix that with the fact he was the fastest player on the field every time he stepped on it . Had he played with the maturity he had after he did his time he would have been the best to play the position and I truly believe this . He has openly said in Atlanta he was the last to practice first to leave rarely put in worl rarely did extra and if he had he has no idea how much better he could have been . I cant imagine either. We won't ever see a Mike Vick

@@joshromero-burgan9860 go watch Tyrod’s university highlights and he even has a good amount of NFL highlights. Vick was unquestionably more gifted but Tyrod beat most of his big time records at VT. He was definitely close to Vick, he just wasn’t nearly as gifted and wasn’t put on a team that he could really work with

Vick put up the same type of numbers in the NFL that he put up in college. Tyrod didnt. Hes solid but I dont think anyone would put him on vicks level
@@joshromero-burgan9860 pretty sure Vick himself put Tyrod on his own level and it wasn’t just out of respect either, if you think Lamar is close you gotta give some of the same respect to Tyrod. I’m a Vick fan and Tyrod Taylor along with Lamar Jackson have been the only ones to come somewhat close to what Vick was able to do throughout his football career. Nobody else. You’re right on saying the NFL and College are different leagues however Vick and Tyrod are legends at Virginia Tech and have done some of the craziest shit in college football history. Vick obviously has a much more impressive and memorable NFL highlight reel than Tyrod but again Tyrod has a somewhat decent amount of his own highlights but overall is one of the only few QBs next to Lamar Jackson and Mike Vick who have displayed that type of amazing athletic talent. There’s two QBs you’ll always see Vick respect because they both admitted Vick was one of their biggest inspirations to how they play and they put out the work to prove it: Tyrod and Lamar.

Because the Falcons weren't close to the best team that season (nor was Michael close to most valuable). They were under .500 and in the same division as the cinderella favorite Saints post-Katrina with a resurgent drew brees...and most important Ladainian Tomlinson had a season with only an NFL record 31 TDs (which is more than the combined total Vick was responsible for).

Absolutely have nothing against the quarterbacks of the 1980s, maybe collectively the greatest ever gathered together in Jim McMahon, John Elway, and Dan Marino. Jim Kelly and Brian Sipe were incredible.
Even so, Michael Vick's style was a joy to witness. Imagine the 1980s had the NFL allowed J.C. Watts and Turner Gill to enter the league? It would have been just as amazing as the Vick highlights!!!

Trust me and again i say "trust me", EVERYONE wanted to be Michael Vick. I remember how a documentary was released interviewing coaches around the nation and how one of the biggest issues in college football (durinf mike vick era) were how all QBs in high school and entering college were all trying to emulate Vick. Everyone. It became a problem because all young folks looked up to his style rather than style of Brady, peyton, warner.
