🧡 🧡 🧡 Don't feel alone! We're all right here watching and enjoying with you, Melissa! And Jesus will be your Companion if you look to him. I became ever so aware of that through a few years stuck in a couch sitting up, and through pain I could barely even pray but I would look up at His eyes and He was my Companion. Still is. Hope this helps your heart. 🧡 Cristina in Texas
I’m 63, born and raised in Alabama. Been a country female all my life, still am. I remember going to my grandparents house with my family and waking up on Sunday morning with the smell of fresh fried smothered chicken and biscuits cooking. Grandma and momma would scramble eggs also. To me, that’s still the best Southern breakfast that ever was!
I love all of your recipes and your wholesomeness and your Southern Charm. But most of all I love the fact that you are just being you! Don't change anything about your videos
That’s Family Cooking also looks so goood I would start showing the older boys how to cook these meals. B no ever to early to start & Strawberry cobbler yum great Cook.
This is my new favorite series!!! I love seeing that smile the boys have after eating your delicious food and dusty rolls his eyes back when he love’s something, and of course Kylens fainting!! The sweetest family ever!!
Bacon grease! Cook those hot dogs and sauerkraut in bacon grease! Season those green beans (which looked awesome) with bacon grease! Potato cakes? You got it, fry them in bacon grease! Oil is bland, butter is better, but that southern food really comes to life with bacon grease!
I grew up in the 80's we had dinner every single night at the kitchen table. Friday was pizza or KFC. My parents still have dinner every night at the kitchen table. I did Sunday dinners with my daughter in the late 90's early 2000's being a single mom we had dinner most nights at my parents. I love it.
My family is from east TN & I can remember mother making sauerkraut & weenies when we were little. TN has changed alot since I was born there 68 years ago. But one of my fondest memories is when we would get snowed in for a week or more. We would nail up Quilts over the openings to the family room and keep the fire going 24/7. If we were snowed in we did not have electric. It made my little heart sing with joy on the morning that we got up & mother let us roast weenies for breakfast. I was too young to understand that our food was getting low I just knew that it was the best thing EVER to have weenies for breakfast.
I am so happy to hear your voice today. I have been stuck in airports for the past three day. Finally, I am home and excited to connect with my Tennessee family. stuck in airports for the past three days. Finally, I am home and so missed my Tennessee family of 5.
I so love seeing your family enjoy and support their mama's hard work. If I were you it would make me feel so loved and I know it does. You guys are the best and by far my absolute favorite channel on RUclips. God bless you all.
You are so cute! Making certain dishes just the way your boys want with this, without that is a testament to keeping Peace, Love, and Joy in your home! So happy I found your channel! Much Aloha to you and family from Maui🌺

I have found myself so looking forward to your Sunday Supper videos. I love them! I'm born and raised in So Cal but all my parents and Grandparents were from the South so I can appreciate your style of cooking. I'm all about the Kraut and weinies, LOL. I'm so happy you have a loving family appreciating how much you love them back 🥰 this is my favorite series of yours so far, and I already loved everything else before it lol, thanks for sharing
My husband and I are with Dusty. We love sauerkraut and hotdogs. Just cooked together or sauerkraut as a topping on a hotdog on a bun. Looks like a good meal.
I live in Scotland UK and I've never really thought of a trip to the US but I do want to come to yours for Sunday dinner lol. thank you so much for sharing xxx
Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your videos. I have learned so much regarding new recipes and new ideas for meals. Keep doing what you are doing.
You should make merch with your kids sayings “ that’s good… holy crap” and “is it good? I don’t know let’s find out.” And a head down on the table and a thumbs up 👍🏻
I get so excited when your videos are ready. You are such a good cook. Your smile is infectious. Your boys are so cute. Thanks for sharing your Sunday meal with us.
Trying slicing your shrooms up then add some sliced onions, butter of course. Then add some Worcestershire sauce, garlic and onion powder and sauté. YUM!!!
I am a crazy Ol' Lady...and I LOVE Watching you cook! Takes me back home to when my G'ma used to fix food. We never knew we were poor as we always had food left over and got what we needed. Your food is wonderful. Have you thought about self publishing a cookbook? I would buy it!
Love you and your channel. Your kids are so cool just like you and Dusty. I wished we lived closer because I know we would be great friends. My momma taught me if you didn't have anything nice to say don't say anything too ❤ My Mom is gone but it's nice to hear a younger person remind people of that. I'm an older person who cooked in a university for 16 years, and I loved cooking things for individuals, because a lot of kids act😢ate it. So keep being kind and taking care of your family. With love Sherry
I swear I could smell supper cooking! OMG!! Ill be there next time, ill even bring my own plate if need be! I liked everything you made, except mushrooms! You and your family are great, love your videos, Hi everyone! Keep up the awesomeness! Love ya! 🐢🐢💚💚💖💖
I grew up with kraut and weenies. I'm not that fond of kraut, I do cabbage and weenies. I mix it with boiled potatoes, a bit of mayo and some mustard. Feast.
I have a German daughter-in-law who made sauerkraut and pork medallions when I visited in Treier one summer. I’ve been making it the same way since. I use cheddarwurst or hot dogs, whatever. Melt some butter and cook however much chopped onion you like until translucent. Add sauerkraut, plain or Bavarian, add a few bay leaves, salt and pepper (Petra uses white pepper but I never have bought any) and let it cook a bit. I throw my brats (fully cooked) into the pot to steam until heated through. Really good, the rest of you might like it. I serve with mustard on the side.
On Sunday we had a big lunch. Germany has their main meal at lunch and a small meal at Supper. After we cleared the table we all went for a walk. Depending on where we lived it could be in fields and forest, in town, or downtown window shopping as all stores were closed on Sunday. Then go home for coffee and cake.
You are amazing running your short-order-kitchen. I would ask, then listen to what everyone wanted to eat then continue making whatever I had planned on cooking! Haha
🧡🧡🧡 I just LOVE this! Maybe theyre right, the Sunday Suppers series is amazing! So comforting and I love seeing you cook each thing! Love the family time afterward. Ryder said the cobbler was "quite nice" hehe 😅 Everything looked SCRUMPTIOUS or as we say "Scrum-Diddly-umptious" 😅 Thank you so much!
This is so great!!! At 3:33 which is my angel number I saw you making your strawberry cobbler! I just got a beautiful pint of strawberries from my local food pantry and did not know what to do with them! I was going to look up your cobbler from the last Sunday dinner, but here it is! All I need is some flour I think instead of the pancake mix, but Brooke, you are so amazing! I so appreciate you sharing these centers with us! It feels like we’re actually there with you enjoying the whole process!!!! 🌼🌼🌼
I love sauerkraut. I could just eat it by itself. Lol. I love it with hotdogs or sausage. We also love potato patties. I would cut up a hotdog and add it to it. BTW, I'm a mushroom hater. Lol Everything else looks delicious.❤
Yay! Sunday supper my favorite series. If your husband likes sauerkraut he will love the sauerkraut from the deli section in Costco called Wild Brine. And it's really good for your stomach because that's probiotics. Is fresh and wonderful. It's great on hot dogs it's great the way you made it although that cooks it. It's great on an egg, graton ramen, great stirred in fried rice, sandwich it's great with pork chops, it's great in mashed potatoes. Just about anywhere and I bet he would love some.
I just came across your channel and I have LOVED every video. I can relate to you in so many ways. Your new subscriber from a small town in West Tennessee ❤️
I cook my hotdogs and sauerkraut in a pot of water with extra vinegar and a can of beer. The beer I use is stale meaning right before it expires. More flavor. So much better cooked in beer. I only make it for new year’s. Mashed potatoes on the side. Also some kind of pork for those who don’t like sauerkraut.
Brooke you are a 🌟. Outdid yourself. What a wonderful Sunday supper. I’m watching wishing I could have been there. It all looks delicious. Barbara in Alabama
You are a GENIUS!! Salted caramel garlic mushrooms. I just happen to have all the ingredients so I'm going to try them tonight. Love your videos. Love your family. Love you!

Both my hubby and I are from German families here in Texas and our favorite kraut is the Aldi jar one. So so good. We eat it with sausage though
I rinse my sour kraut then replace the liquid with chicken broth. I add cut up potatoes and smoked pork neck bones. Its so good
