- This is a Bellydance video of me, improvising to one of the most beautiful songs that I know - "Nahash" by SpiRitual, one of the projects of my great friend, Stefan Hertrich. Vocals are by Stefan Hertrich and Yana Veva.
This song is very special to me, as it was the song of the very first bellydance video which I uploaded to my RUclips channel, almost 2 years ago. And because this video will be the first video to show my new tattoo, I wanted it to be a special one, as the tattoo, to me, represents "Mahafsoun".
This is also my first time being back in the studio after being hospitalized and unable to dance for a long time. It felt truly amazing and freeing to be back there, and also to be able to record more videos to share with all of you.
I hope that you enjoy this video, as much as I enjoyed dancing within it...

Stefan Hertrich was the heart and soul of Darkseed, twenty years passed, for one of the best albums "Give me light", "Diving into darkness", "Astral adventures" and "Ultimate Darkness", until 2006, when he left Darkseed, Germany's music scene lost one of the best and highest quality bands of recent times.
The ending of this was exceptional. I like your ghost.
This dance is a work of art. Watching it triggered a beautiful but sad story in my mind that would take way too long to write down here. Amazing does not begin to describe what I just saw. Thank you.

Antonio, I'm not saying that Nightwish is a bad band, in fact it was once very good, old ... but you can not compare Nightwish with Darkseed and their conception of music and lyrics.
Definitely made me broaden my tastes in music. Unfortunately the English language does not have the words I am looking for to describe my thoughts on your dancing, though. Perhaps "divine" would be close, but not enough.

Completely unrelated question, but does "nahash" in Arabic have the same meaning as it does in Hebrew? (I speak a bit of the latter, but not the former)
