I'm so so happy that I have found your channel, it's super useful and I can learn lots of new things about Ae. I wish you can update more and more tutorials like that in future. I'm looking forward to seeing more video from you. Thank you so much
Pre-comp your donut with bites and add "Simple choker" to the comp. Set the expansion to a negative number and then add "cc Composite". Change the "Composite original" mode to silhouette alpha and you should see an outline. Add a fill effect to this outline and change the expansion to tailor it to your needs.
What is the food you are trying to make appear to be eaten is a Pre-comp itself? I tried this with a video I was putting together and the track matte wouldn't work correctly.

THANK YOUUUUU🥰🥰🥰🍩
i have an upward transition in my animation, how to make the bite mark stay in place when thetransition happens?
Thanks for the tutorial. Just one question- why dont you use inverted masks? Isn't it easier or you just wanted to show the alternative way to do it?
thanks man :")
Nice tutorial - any tips on how to make this with an outlined donut?

the color of my bite marks are green as well but after pre-composing and turning the main layer into the alpha inverted, the bite marks stayed green
Same issue
I think he clicked the eye icon on the bite mark layer and that is how you get the invisible bite marks
Just in case anyone still have this issue you have to create shape from vector layer first then it will work
@@anthonyyvan6686 How do you mean? How do I do that?
How do u set ur first bite, wich shortcute does u use?
there is no way to do that directly in after effects with a mask?
please use onscreen button display if you can't tell which ones you are pressing.
it can work for the transition word ?

Hey Sara! Can you DM a picture of your timeline so that I can help you further diagnose the issue?
