Cheers for the video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you tried - Peyilyan Especial Principle (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a good one of a kind product for learning how to create unlimited videos without the headache. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my coo-worker after a lifetime of fighting got amazing results with it.
I always enjoy your Videos. They are very nice. Keep it Up. Please I need the Video on how to create Cartoon Digital Storytelling or Cartoon Short conversations of 2 characters in one scene using Adobe After Effects ?
Hi. I have a question for you. Hope you see it. Free pick seems a good website for practice projects, but how do you deal with crediting the author of the artwork for real projects? I mean, if someone pays me to make an explainer video for sure they do not want the audience to see a watermark on the add with arts author name. So how do I deal with this issue? Do you have any advice?
Nice tutorial as always. Small tip for layer separation in illustrator: select all objects, click on the hamburger menu in the top right corner, release to layers (sequence), drag all the layers above the first layer and you got everything separated.
At 3:11 it’s much easier to just select the main layer, click on the three bars at the top right and select “Release to Layers (Sequence)”. This will automatically create a layer for each vector!
youre spot on about companys using motion graphics now due to corona, im a videographer now working from home (no backlog of footage to edit and nothing to film at home), I'm now doing online courses to learn animation, new skill- win! They have paid up to £15,000 for explainer videos in the past (includes writers, voice actors too), this lockdown is a good opportunity to learn new skills for that side hustle
@@SideEffects297 really well actually I took a course on Udemy (25% complete) and I'm already making cool animations for the brand. Granted I did have some experience a couple years back with AE briefly and I'm used to most adobe products.
@@SideEffects297 I reccomend RUclips if you understand basics, the course is just because my company wanted to be able to track hours of learning. I suggest youtube if not a beginner
Wow It's incredible this. When I was starting to use AE, didn't know how to keep up with these type of animations. After months of practice and using the program, I find it so damn easy how to do this stuff!. Keep it up guys, just keep practicing and we'll all become masters of this outstanding animation software.
Hello! I am 16 years old and I want to do freelancing.I want to be a 2d explainer .can u suggest me which software should I use for this purpose .kindly suggest me a RUclips channel from which I can learn this.
Great tutorial! It’s easy to follow if you have a little experience with the softwares but if you slowed down just a bit this would definitely be more beginner friendly and one of the best animation tutorials ever 😊
Hey Josh, you make a great point up front. And another thing that's happening, especially with us here in Ocala, is that a lot of Tampa/Orlando clients are going virtual with their trade shows, which opens a lot of opportunities for motion graphics content. Also, commercial developers are utilizing tactics like drone video presentations, so clients can do more offsite review. I've been doing a lot of tracking callouts and property boundaries over the past week.
You are definitely right! Agree and I’ve been saying the same. Honestly even without the pandemic this field is growing. Just look at Vox and all those online knowledge/journalism videos.
This looks great, but I wouldn’t say someone without knowing the program would be able to use this. I have a little experience and still found it too fast and a bit confusing. I’ll watch it again and try and create alongside with it. Thanks for sharing.
This video has been so helpful, already subscribed, the message has certainly inspired my on the other side of the planet, thank you so much brother. 🙏
This was great thanks. Is there a video on how to transition between scenes in an Explainer Video like this? I can't quite figure out if I just build a large canvas and move the camera?
people the download file that was used . Needs to be separeted in illustrator on individual layers . Each cloud needs to be on a separate layer And each building need to be separated. And the background too separated. It can be tricky to separate each building as parts of each building paths or scattered in different parts of the whole layer . Need to focus well
Easily one of the best videos I have seen in terms of level of information given, straight to the point, easy to follow! Thanks so much, I will be viewing your content from now on, you have my sub/like/bell...
Nice tutorial but it would have been very kind if you could zoom each step that you are doing so that beginners can understand the whole thing without any issues.
Nice tutorial, thanks. But I think you missed animating the smoke element that goes with the smoke stack. I believe one of those clouds (the one w/o the flat bottom) is actually smoke. Thanks for the tips on the the free graphics and bg music!
Great video! Pronunciation tip: font name Bebas Neue... Neue is the German word for "new" and is pronounced "noy-uh." The letters "eu" are said "oy" always. A lot of fonts are German and have "Neue" on the end.
denniszenanywhere The main problem is it’s a recording of a very large display, but a lot of us will watch on a much smaller display like my iPad, which makes the details in the video look too tiny. Tutorial videos are best recorded between 1920x1080 px and 1280x720 px so that everything is readable. The content is excellent though!
How did you keep the layer's placements in After Effects the same as they were in Illustrator? When I import my Ai file, all the layers are aligned to the center of the comp, all sitting on top of each other.
Great tutorial, keep them coming! Very helpful for giving me a better understanding about how to animate. I would like to add that IMO it's smart to think a few steps ahead of animating in AE: within Illustrator you should already have an idea of what you want to animate and therefore create corresponding layers. This prevents you later on going back and forward between both tools. I speak from experience ;-)
Im watching and trying to follow along with the pollution asset but when I bring a file to illustrator I'm not able to view the layers of the asset itself so I'm not able to animate certain parts for a video
Hi, great video as always!...I’ve often come across explainer videos where a particular part would be high lighted by a quick wraparound red line effect that would last seconds, just enough to point to or emphasise... for instance it could be to click a button and a line would run around it.... can you tell me how to create that effec5 or where I could get it? Many thanks
Just subscribed! You are awesome. One thing i had to ask that at freepik they mostly recommend attribute the artist which is annoying especially when working on freelance sites. Is there any copyright free and attribute free site in your mind, I'd appreciate if you help.

Or copy paste direct to AE as shapes

You can create a shape layer and add keyframes to the trim paths. I'm not sure if that's the effect you mean but hopefully that helps.
