I love these videos. I'm going to be tuning my mustang by this summer hopefully and it's good to see how it all works. Luckily for the s550 it's just plug in and tune so I dont need to take anything out.
Love this. Very informative video - even for me as I’ve been tuning my cars for a while. I can also concur on the gains difference between twin turbo & n/a motors, as the gains on my M6GC compared to my Panny GTS are night & day. Keep up the Porsche content.

Great video! A lot of information from your tuner and really liked the "Q&A/Interview" piece with him.
One thing though, most manufacturers don't tune for max efficiency. They tune for all environments and longevity. I.E. They need to account for high altitude driving AND sea level driving which means at sea level the tune will be slightly rich so it doesn't lean out when driving in the mountains.

Most guys only tune for straight on the nozzle and if FAILS kabooom...you need real time data to make the most adjustments and to be sure those adjustments are giving you gains and actually working

I got my Camaro SS tuned the first week I had it. That's just me. I know I'm going to keep modding my car so it's no big deal. I buy automatics because I like to drag race, and they really respond well to a tune (set shift points, adjust power reduction on shifts,
raise rev limiter, tune for higher stall, gears, etc).

Same shit steph if u buy a bully dog programmer or sct programmer if u plug into your vehicle it’s urs you can’t plug up to another vehicle I believe unless u restore factory map back to car it can be mated to a new car but I want to say that’s not with all some companies want u to send it back to them if u buy a programmer on the street they could be mates to another vehicle and won’t work on yours and dealer will want u to buy the unlock software that can o let be used once I believe

Correction JB4 has a backend flash that you can load using Cobb, MHD or a Laptop. Tell manz do more research before he talk down. Best of both worlds
Tell manz some people use meth for cooling only in the charge pipe to lower charge air temps or IATs if you fancy. No tune required. If you want to use meth for fuel then you do PI or CPI with a tune.

tuning things like intake is just rushing the process of the car learning itself then maybe smoothing it out a tad bit. but tbh for the most part its a cookie cutter type of thing for little stuff on most NA cars.
