We don't bring people back to life. In-game the healing lore works as follows: Healing magics only speed recovery/max the body's own healing abilities. Healing magic cannot on its own do more healing than the body it is being cast on. So if at any point wounds are received that the body could have not recovered on its own, healing magic cannot heal the person thought it may keep them alive a little longer until chirurgeons (in-game doctors) come in and do surgery or whatever else is needed that the body cannot do on its own. This contradicts some of the tool tips and other "gameplay aspects" not sure if it has been reconciled somewhere, but as far as game lore, that is how it works. Healing magic tops out at what your body can naturally do and as you age it becomes less effective, similarly illness can only be recovered if the body could recover on its own. This is why chirurgeons are ultimately still necessary in this magical world because healing magic has very firm limits.
And to go even further raise spells are not resurrection. They're "forcing the person back to consciousness after they've been knocked out regardless of how hurt they are" spells. None of us can actually raise the dead.
"How bout use your resurrection?" "Yeah, no kidding. We've all got heals." Ah, the eternal conflict of game mechanics vs game narrative "We've... we've healed deader people." ... Listen hear ya little...*
Okay but you’re the warrior of light. You can get killed and continue to endure. “Revivication” is only a gamification, if you are playing as a healer they do typically have you use ur heals to attempt to help
