      fiendin281 He didn't dodge Klitschko, he retired. Klitschko was almost 32 years old, Lewis was approaching 38. Everybody has to retire at some point and if the WBC continues to mandate fights when will it ever end? Lewis fought Klitschko on 10 days notice and would have been well within his rights to turn down the fight if he had wanted to duck Klitschko. Lewis wasn't in the best shape, having fought only twice in the last 26 months and his career was coming to it's natural end.

      Pure arrogance. "Who did you hit the hardest?" Hasim Rahman. "Who hit you the hardest?" Uh..I don't know, I mean there's so much adrenaline in the ring..I don't know." Every other heavyweight from that era is man enough to answer that question, but not this arrogant prick.

      Well, you go be undisputed HW champion of the world and call it "arrogance". You will never be on his level with anything you do so how can you speak about how high an eagle should fly if you're a chicken? Top atheletes have that aura about them. They truly believe they're the best that has ever done it, which is why they succeed. Look at the Mayweathers, Jordan, Alis etc. LL truly believe his hype and backed it up.

    • @jamesgross5954
      @jamesgross5954 6 лет назад

      Keith Braggs because he didnt have anything else out there aftef easily ,decisively dismanteling klitschko! klitschko owes his life to that official lennox 3 uppercuts unanswered that enabled klitscho to see directly behind him ansd upside down!

    • @cocknfire77
      @cocknfire77 6 лет назад

      There's a reason Klitchko was never even knocked down once. He took whatever Lewis gave and gave back more. He was winning on the cards and that cuts saved Lewis from losing not only the fight, but tarnishing his image as the best. So he retired, rather than face him again. He was terrified of Vitaly, evident in how he would go to fights backing whoever klitchko was facing.

    • @cocknfire77
      @cocknfire77 6 лет назад

      Vitaly had Lennox right where he wanted him, was up on the cards and rocking him. Why didn't he fight him again, then after retirement he sides with whomever a Klitchko was fighting? He knew he was beat, and would get beaten worse if there had been a rematch. He ran away.

    But I really have to say, he's not the greatest public speaker out there. And that charisma appears to stem more from his appearance, calm tone and accent rather than the content of his speech. He didn't appear to answer any question honestly.

      j.c.m hard core metal fan Yep, exactly. People try to say Tyson was "trash" and "a bum" because of his losses to Holyfield, Douglas and Lewis.
      By the time Lewis accepted a Tyson fight, Tyson was already finished, way past his boxing prime. Physically, mentally and spiritually he was a beaten man at that point in his life, nowhere near the focused person and boxer he was in 86-88.
      I'm convinced that no one in history could have beaten that 86-88 version of Tyson with Kevin Rooney in his corner. He had the shape, he had the mental clarity and heart, he had the speed, he had the power and he had the hunger. He was the perfect storm for those couple of years when he peaked.

    Scared of Tyson. Took a polar expedition in the amateurs to duck Iron Mike until he was washed up. Scared of Vitali. He got his ass kicked that entire fight and won on a cut. Rematch? Hell no. He knew how that would have ended.

    damn, he just refused to answer anything except the hardest he ever hit and opponent. I personally feel the hardest he ever hit anyone was Tyson but his chin held up fro many rounds.

    Lewis is easily a top five all time heavyweight, but there are four men that are consistently better than him. Ali, Foreman, Holmes and Liston. Even so, he would consistently show well against these me. Lewis is an excellent heavyweight, but not perfect.

    Muzaffar,You must be british.Lewis was heading for a big loss from Vitali Klitscho,but it was stopped because of a huge cut on Vitali.And when he fought Tyson,Mike was probably 20 per cent the fighter he was.When Tyson was in his early twenties he was unbeatable and would have hammered Lewis,Tyson lost everything but his power,all those wonderful skills,the constant head movement,lost everything by the time he fought Lewis.Lewis was a good heavyweight though
