They now have an MT-04 that seems like an upgrade and gets bigger but is only 1 inch longer collapsed. So glad i found this video i was extremely underwhelmed by all the options i was seeing until this video. Thank you for saving me a lot of trouble.

Sunwayfoto Panning Micro Ball, do NOT use it for heavy rigs, the biggest I would go is 1KG payload. It's metal, but the ball will slip with heavier rigs. www.ebay.com/itm/364270423032

all is good, I have another channel, but that's not really what's holding me back, it's the younger kids, one a special needs and turns out I spend a lot of time caring for him. Secret camera fund still available, wish I had time to play with the latest toys, will get to them eventually, hopefully this year.

The Manfrotto Pixie can obviously stand on uneven surfaces, I've used countless mini tripods and it's by far the best mini tripod made.

I got the mt 03 quite a while ago and it’s plainly the best compact tripod around.
I had mine stolen, along with a camera, turned around and bought another. It's amazing.
