I didn’t get how the karmskruv works. The normal ones have two parts which can turn independedly in order to adjust the space between the window and the wall. The one you showed has just one part. 🤔
@@Arnout-Arend they have a threaded lower section as normal, but the upper/top of the screw has a ridged edge approximately 3mm wider than the screw shank. These run parallel to the screw head and bite into the frame when screwed into and against a solid surface/packing. This then holds the timber against the screw head, so when you back up or tighten the screw it drags the frame with it. Makes life much easier when installing windows and doors or straightening up walls with batons. Unfortunately they are not galvanised so can only be used indoors.
Hey bro, can I ask you what route you took to be able to be in Norway, or did you come before Brexit? I’m English but moved to Norway three years ago and they are really making it hard for me to stay here. Even with a Norwegian wife and child. Also, how quick did it take you to the learn the language? Did you take any courses? Thanks in advance!
@@janetrobinson6190 I’m ashamed to say it took me a very long time long time to learn the lingo, but that’s just because the Norwegians a so accommodating and speak great English, but I’m competent now. I came before before brexit luckily but it made life harder regardless. I recommend going to the UDI website and contacting them there. Normally very good help. You should be able to get a residency permit fairly easy if you’re employed and then work on citizenship after.
@ hey Bro, thanks for the response! If I’m honest UDI are pretty useless. They’ll tell you a different thing depending on who you talk to 😫 they don’t know their own rules
@ what’s really important in Norway is to get a “saksbehandler” at udi or possibly the police station for help and if you talk to someone as them to send you a mail with the information provided and ask for a saksnummer. “Case number.” Then it’s much easier to follow up.
@@Susan.I Hey Susan. Yes that’s the plan. We will reserve time for ourselves and our employees. The rest of the time it will be available to rent on all the platforms
@Thatcabinguy Yes I know what you mean. But as the Norwegian would say; 'det finnes ikke dårlig vær, bare dårlig klær'. I am a dutchmen living in the Rogaland area her for the last 17 years. Could you tell more about yourself on your channel?
@ completely agree. But when you’re working in -20 all day, the clothes don’t always help. A few people have asked me to share some more about myself on the channel, so I’ll try and do that a bit more, but I’m unsure how interesting people will find me.🤦♂️
Crazy? For building a cabin on your own?? yes.. yes you are! And I love watching it! =)
This guy is a pro! 💪🏻
My mum has a complaint: ‘These are always over too soon! I always want to see more!’ 😂
Nice windows once they are in securely!

@ Ah right! I understand. Interesting.
@ they’re a lot cheaper than the one you described and you don’t need that bloody extra tool that you always loose.🤦♂️😂
@ You’re absolutely right. 😆
I think we need more then 20 min. Videos =))))
