    Hi, great video and great job.
    I was wondering would you have a list of parts that you used? I'm not sure what the bolts etc you used to get a flush finish on one end?

    The bolts that looked to be Allen wrenches that you tightened the tension with, what is the name of those ? Sort of like a turnbuckle

    What is the diameter size of the wire 1/8, 3/16, or something else?

    Is there is a alternative to crimp the work without the expensive hydraulic press?

    • @ScorpionRegent
      @ScorpionRegent 7 лет назад +1

      I know about using Unbolts, they look tacky and it's not crimped. It's possible to crimp things with a sledge hammer, but you wouldn't get that machine pressed look. I'd rather not go to a equipment rental and pay through the nose. If I ever do that sort of thing I'll fabricate a crimping gig using a bottle jack.

    Why not use wire cutters ?

    • @DIYMadeEasy
      @DIYMadeEasy  5 лет назад

      It's easier and quicker to use the grinder. If you use the cutters, you will find it harder to cut, and there is a greater chance of fraying the cable, which will make it harder to insert into the stainless steel fitting.
      I don't have that large size steel wire cutter.
