You don’t need that air pump at all. The water gets oxygen through surface agitation. Those bubbles from the air pump do not dissolve in the water. The primary purpose of the air pump and bubbles is to agitate the surface and break the tension of the water surface. Since you already have a wavemaker in place, it is fulfilling the same function but with 100x better result ;-). The air pump is essentially redundant in your setup. Beautiful Rays! Congrats!
That Arow is absolutely stunning, beautiful fish and the tank is striking.. the gent is like me and his sofa is nicely placed to enjoy. My MBU tank is in front of me when I chill at home. If you have a monster display you have no choice with budget foods and need deep pockets. Mick when you visit that Arow store give it the full bells and whistles with your footage..👍. You definitely need to visit this gentleman again when he upgrades..
Great content I am really enjoying your visits to see other tanks as well it’s great to get other fish keepers perspective’s, keep up the awesome work Mick. Love the tank
Could do with more filtration in that sump as plenty of space. With Discus, you should get new ones from the same breeder so you won’t have the issues with water parameters
so much flow in that tank, for the fish he is keeping he needs to reduce it. Fish are constantly fighting the current and are probably constantly exhausted. That much flow would be great for rheophelic species but not for rays, discus and arowana
Mate you’re a lunatic he’s tank’s massive people read how big the fish get but that’s bloody SeaWorld or in the wild they only reach half those measurements in captivity he could fit way more fish in this tank 👍😬
@@oscardean6351 mate you dont have any plan....these guys dont care your tank size...its way too small... i own rays myself and believe me i know whats going on.. i got a tank thats 4 times bigger than his....my sump is his tank :D
@@zonicsan what do you mean I don’t have any plan I don’t get you I’ve never kept rays but I’ve watched a lot of footage and stories about them actually Rays don’t interest me I’m more into American cichlids eels turtles interesting stuff community tanks of large species and creatures that live together that’s always been my thing really you do see a lot of large tanks that are over stocked with allsorts but to say that tank is over stocked with about six fish is madness Crazy
@@usdennis1236l get what you’re saying but fish in captivity are stunted they don’t grow as big as the potential in the wild or in massive aquariums they slow down and adapt to the size of tank and tank mates that they’re in with I mean I remember years ago I had two Oscars with several other fish in a 3 foot tank they only grew to about 9 inches and then they stopped growing when I bought a bigger tank some years later I put them in the big tank and they started to grow again they adapt I was surprised when they grew but this is what happens all the best friend 👍😬
I can’t believe the guy is saying he’s getting no more fish in the tank it’s huge and no decoration or substrate in the tank is just boring I know the fish are gonna grow but come on make use of the tank fill it with fish man 🙁
It just looks sterile and miserable. It is behoven upon us as animal keepers to provide them with the best environment possible and no substrate doesn't give them that.
Hate seeing fish this big in such a small environment. These fish should be free to swim wild for hundreds of meters. Not 2/3 meters. Even a tank the size of your kitchen is too small for these fish. Especially with no natural features such as sand or plants.
That’s all very good Andrew but let’s be honest these fish were from a fish farm with very little room I understand peoples views on big fish small tanks but this guy is be much fair to the fish than most
why is it always got something to say about someone tank and that it not big enough why don’t you try to buy a bigger tank for us rather then talk shit

Great tank! love how clear the water is and love the white bottom
What a fantastic setup, incredible Cristal clear tank with awesome rays and a beautiful Arowana, the open sump is just great. 👍🏴
Tanks look so much better when they’re filled to the top “hint hint”. Thanks for sharing man!
The tank is full to the top you’ll just see in the waterline the other side cheers friend
@@oscardean6351 I’m not talking about the tank in this video. Go look at Micks tanks, in his other videos. He keeps them 3-4 inches from the top.

Nice bro love these sort of videos 👊🏼 that tank was crystal clear 🔥
Straight on this one! 🔥🔥
Loved this tank more than I was expecting to 😅 such a clean set up. Just needs some paint for the stand 👌
I want a aquarium this big mine is only 300ltr! Nice tank fella, Crystal clear aswel 😍
Great video mate 👍👍👍

If Craig is watching this I'd like to see his new setup if he eventually did upgrade. If so could he do a quick video and post link here.
That setup is beautiful. :)
This makes me want to set a FW Stingray tank up soooo bad ! 😍🔥
Do it ☺️👍🏻
@MicksFishUk where do you get your tanks from bro
Nd aquatics mate
Super bro amazing
how was the white bottom done
Nice tank, would of personally put a UV on too
What size tank is it?
In my tank I also have an aro with 2 king blue discus and some clowns. This is the only other tank I’ve seen someone do this
The water in unbelievably clear!! I wish mine was the same haha
What is size of this tank l×w×h... And glass used and mm of glass?

tongyans are reds and crossback crossbreeds
Is bottom painted white or what ???
No it’s 2 bits of glass stuck together laminated double bassed what gives you this affect.
What size of this tank l×w×h??
I’ve got a small tank with one guppy in it, would you like to come visit it?
COME BACK MICK!
The dog doesn't give a fuck!!
Your friend is wasting lot's of space in the sump . Space for much more media
That's not fair having those rays in there man, it's barely double the width of them.
the water flow seems to be too strong.
waaaaay to small for these type of fish🙈

No substrate in a tank for rays is really not ideal. Great aesthetically, not for rays though
