Since the original dragon ball is so old a blu ray release would only improve it a little bit. At that point they would be better off reanimating the whole thing
@@JimmyRagZ Unfortunately this is true. The painful fact of the matter is a very large population of people who know of DBZ don't even realize it's a *sequel* series. It's practically a household name all it's own so the original Dragon Ball is seemingly doomed to obscurity.
The old versions had the booklets.. I sold mine old set and bought a new set and only 3 of the 5 had a booklet.. and nowadays none of them have it. REALLY CHEAP! Funimation!

Seems like you take this chance regardless of where you order too because it seems Cruncyroll never has the collection in stock. Funny how on the UK equivalent of these sets are yellow instead of blue lol and season 1 comes with the first OG Dragon Ball movie, curse of the blood rubies as a bonus, but what's annoying, there's no option to watch that movie in Japanese :/ on top of that, other 3 OG dragon ball movies wasn't release in the UK :/

i really wish they would make a kai version of dragon ball or make a version where the filler is cut, because there are so many long pauses in every epsiode, it makes it hard to watch, even in the cool action parts
My personal opinion: Series 1 = call it easy thumbs up(if you can look past the cringefest) 3# (very Best)(must buy) Series 2 = easy thumbs up and way toned down from the cringe that was S1 (Best) Series 3= thumbs in middle on this one it wasn't quite the quality of S1 & S2 but it wasn't downright bad either quite an easy enjoyable watch. Series 4= thumbs in the middle again series 5= Very high Thumbs up 2# (very best )(must buy) Series 6= thumbs up (filler) Series 7= solid thumbs up(best) Series 8 = very high thumbs up 1# (very best)(must buy) Series 9= skip the crappy wedding saga filler and call this series a high thumbs up.

What's the difference between the blue sets and the orange sets
Two different shows. Blue is Dragon Ball (prequel to Dragon Ball Z). Orange is Dragon Ball Z. Green is Dragon Ball GT (sequel to Dragon Ball Z).
