@@EZ-Ways_official Play the game with different champs? My brother in christ, the whole problem is that they have removed the system where you can get a chest from playing a character. There is not a single free way of earning chests now. Your chests are the last, brother.

Waiting for Riot ass-kissers to come here and tell us that people who liked hextech chests are just "loud minority" because apparently 99,99% of people absolutely love having everything locked behind gacha and battle pass that keeps getting nerfed.
It used to be only accessible through buying. No chests, no gacha.
Set prices, and eventually discounts.
And tbh it should be reverted back to that, and battle pass is alright. You don't need skins to play the game, skins are just a small bonus. If the game isn't enjoyable without skins, then you don't deserve the skins

@@ArcadianCatharsis Ok but you can understand why people would get upset when they've been receiving something for free, then suddenly it is taken away? On top of that, since there are 2 separate components to the loot system, everyone has varying degrees of leftover keys or chests in excess which are now useless without PAYING for the other half of your loot
I Simple stop playing after the Chest were taken, they were my only incentive to play this thing.

The only way to get hextech chests for free now is on a new account. New accounts can get like 5 of them through the daily rewards. Can you believe they'd reward new accounts with 5 skins and 10 year veterans with nothing?
And then the new players find out it's difficult to buy champions so they just leave xD
if youve been playing consistently for 10 years then u would have a shit ton of skins anyways yet youre here complaining about new people get 5 random ones they prob wont even like?

As a new-ish player, I started february last year, I didn’t tryhard much, but I played a fair share of games, and I still have less than half the entire character roster, now without Hextech chests to get those blue essence discounts I’ll probably never get them all.
At this point there’s no need to put characters behind that, at least make all of them available if they’re gonna remove the chests, even playing urf right now I can’t pick a character I don’t own if it gets available, on a silly game mode where everyone is doing dumb stuff, it kinda sucks...

Look for a new game, don't waste your time with a game that's on a rampage enshitification.

@ thing is, LoL is already a side game, I only play for fun and whenever friends that played for years are also playing, I kinda just wanted to be part of the group y'know, I am really shit at the game but it's still fun, I just hate that they made the game even worse for newer players.
I'll probably still keep playing every now and then but they aren't making it very noob friendly at all, and if it affects how many new players they get it's on them.

Don't forget when they realized that the Event Passes were too good of a deal, so they quickly nerfed the rewards that you would get for buying the pass. Call me stupid if you want, but $10 used to go a long way with the event passes. I would easily come out of events with anywhere between 3-10 new skins...which is crazy because a single skin is (or at least used to be) $10.

New season in one scenario
- removes Masterwork Chests
- removes Hextech chests entirely from free access
- removes receiving capsules from level up
- removes events
- removes receiving Mythic Essence for free
- removes BE and Masterwork Chest from mastery
- removes ranked rewards except Victorious skins
- changed cannon wave coming on 3rd wave to 4th wave, so 2nd-4th wave crash has become a replacement for 3rd wave crash.
- "Riot wanted to attract more" people into LoL by turning into Gacha and gambling, except you can lose your account permanently, thats why CSGO works better than LoL.
- +5% armor pen for adc = No %maxHP damage being the reason why APC is the meta
- No reason to play anymore, because free loot got nerfed so much, you cant enjoy being rewarded, even more exp is converted into season pass, so getting into level 30, getting new champs, and unlocking skins makes it more difficult
- "Luxurious, breath taking, the new era of skins" ends up being a cashgrab
- CANT VIEW what quests you have accomplished
- All quests are going into season pass, good job you want to leave the game as Riot intended
- Black Rose champs get Black Rose skin without Rell, the next Blitzcrank in Arcane
- Unfixed Client Bugs, cant give honor to teammates that carried, cannot play on first boot which is a good reason to leave the game
- Challenging players every season despite being pisslows themselves and not understanding what the playerbase complains about, wants or cares about, its about teasing and pranking till everyone leaves
+ Makes all the loot about The Sanctum
+ All keys are now useless, because you receive orbs and token INTO THE SANCTUM WITH INTO THE SANCTUM BUNDLE
+ Release an AP champion that has empowered AA // they are seriously going to transfer mages into adcs with the dmg based on max%HP as mages are mainly ability focused champs (Teemo, Twitch, Kog Maw and etc are excluded, because they are ranged champs with ranged weapons unlike Gandalf with On-Hit and true damage scaling with %max HP, can dash 4 times, gets invisible, cant be grabbed in his dash, has an execute for his excuse and deals crit magic damage)

To be honest I don't mind them getting rid of hextech chests
They implemented it because they saw chests work for Counter Strike but this just isn't a good system for league skins.
I didn't mind skins being only possible to be bought for money, it was a good way to support the creators and to get yourself a way to stand out on favorite champion. Also it was profitable and stable way of gaining money. Hextech chests only made it so riot has to create more skins every year and put a lot more work into pumping out Skins, because as it seems hextech chests were easy way to get free skins.
So this is just reverted back to the original. And still whoever played actively Throught this time got many skins already.
What I can't stand is the enormous amount of bugs and terrible choices they made for the game. Yuumi existing etc.

You need Blue Essence to play the games though, and now it's much harder to get them.

riot fucked it up by removing hextech chests. they're already not pulling in NEW players who watched/hasn't watched Arcane and are steadily losing their current players. their entire plan is predatory.
