Love your little Christmas stitching, very cute, and what a find with the home sweet home stitched piece, i love it, so beautiful! Glad you rescued it!
I have a small three tiered rolling chart with hanging compartments that sits next to my recliner. The top tray has a cozy crocheted small blanket for one of my cats, we have 4 cats in the house. It houses my scissors, current projects in zipper bags, marking pens, glasses etc. Love it, got it on Amazon, around $60.00. I have other spots in the house that I stitch and I roll it everywhere.
Thank you for showing my Scottie girls. The Etsy shop that converted my photos to patterns is “PuntAGOpetitePattern”. FYI, both of my Scotties passed back in 2002 & 2016. The heartache never leaves but having these memories to see everyday keeps them near and dear in my heart.🐾🐾. LOL, hint taken.
Just have to say, your little girl is so patient with the kitten. They really seem to enjoy each other. Love to watch the interaction. The frame you got for pumpkin man is perfect and I do like the carnival votive and hobnail vase. Just great for holding small items. Enjoy your week!!
Thank you! Sometimes I have a “maybe I won’t show that” thought 😊Even when the cat and dog are making out. They really are lovely but the kitten is now modeling after the dog and the dog treats him like her puppy ❤oh my heart
Professional framing has gone beyond what my pocketbook will allow, so I really appreciate your "finds" that allow finishing alternatives. I never would have thought to buy a frame with a holiday picture in it, cover the picture, and then mount my stitching! I am so excited to go into my finished stitching drawer and see what possibilities there are. Thank you so much!!
As always...a fun video. I like how you put the finished projects on pillows and pulled the edges. The material you choice is perfect. I haven't tried that yet but after seeing yours, im going to. Your treasure hunt is entertaining to all of us. Its amazing how many good fines you come home with. Happy stitching.
Thank you for sharing. What a wonderful video! I got excited hearing about your treasure hunt. I wish we had cool places to shop here in Maryland. Love seeing your amazing stitching. ❤
Love my Mondays when I get to watch your flosstube. I’m always searching out little treasures and things for display from car boot sales and charity shops! It’s the original recycling and way cheaper than buying new and full price! 😂
I'm so jealous ,it must be so much fun having so many places to find treasures. Thank you so much for sharing, i love watching you when I'm having my coffee.❤
What a fun video, your little pillows are awesome,I also love the pumpkin man and the frame is perfect. You make Monday mornings so fun. Have a good week.
Hey Sarah, Loved your video. Oct 1st for Pumpkin Man. 😁 Return of the Whales is on my wishlist at 123 Stitch. Whales & lighthouses are also close to my heart. I love your finish! Side note, I live 20 minutes from 123 Stitch. 😉 I’d gladly give that up to live in Maine! ❤
@@Sarahthenorthwoodsstitcher 123 Stitch is basically a warehouse. When you walk in there is a very small area where you can pick up your order that you placed online. There is a huge curtain to hide all the goodies in the warehouse. It’s like the Wizard of Oz. I always want to peek behind the curtain but there is a camera. 😀 They “may” open a portion to the public in the future but who really knows. I’d gladly help you eat those donuts!
I have had cats in the house for many years without a problem with my stitching. Never had a problem until 12 years ago when I got a kitty with pica (always on the obsessive search for thread). I put my beading and cross stitch in something kitty can't get into (bags, boxes, etc.). I always remove the needle from my working threads in case kitty finds the thread. Just a thought.
Never had a problem until this rascal came along😂I know he’s teething but even things that aren’t moving he seems interested in😮. Everything is tucked and stashed away so I’m fussy about my space but hopefully it’ll change❤
There is some museum quality tacky stuff that people have used under objects in their RV. They are tacked in place but easily removed without damaging your surface. Some of this on your Knick-knacks would keep Stewart from knocking them over. You can make a little fairy garden with your mushrooms
Good morning, Sara…love watching your Floss-tube…it’s comfort to me, & that’s a great thing! I’ve often wondered exactly what the “dump” is you speak of…I’m wondering if we have those in Arkansas.🤔🥰
Hi! Glad you enjoy the channel ❤Our dump is where we take the trash. There’s no garbage pickup here unless you pay a private company and have a dumpster on your property so we go once a week with our garbage and recycling to the dump. There’s a little shed there for “still useful” items. It’s a great place to find things before they end up in the garbage. Volunteers try to keep it organized and there’s books and even clothes for picking.
Your pillows are wonderful. You did a great job. I hope you get out that Juki. You will love sewing. I am sure you will be good at it. Kathy the dog lover
I started to de-clutter all my stuff. I love it all but some of it has to go. I am also in the middle of putting all my floss on tags. OMG this is proving to be a long project. But it is so much easier when it comes to kitting up a project. Love all your haul.
Sarah, What I have found usefull when putting poly pellets in a pillow is ti use a mall funnel. The one that I use came in a package of 3 in the kitchen tools section of Walmart. The medium and large are really useful in the kitchen, but the small one just wasn't useful there, so I transferred it to my craft area and I have found many uses for it, not the least of which was using it to put poly pellets in my cross stitched items, Take care, be safe, and as always, GOD BLESS YOU. Linda
The wood mushrooms would also look good with different shades of stain, for a natural look. They would look cute on a deep frame , like the bottle trees ! 😊
Love how your little Holiday pillows turned out! I've been looking everywhere for that pattern, but can't find it? Any suggestions? Would love to stitch them too. Lots of great framing tips. Always fun to see all your treasures...I really like the fluted piece for your counting pins...definately not hideous! Happy Stitching!
Sorry it took so long but I did find the pattern! You can get it from Etsy and Everything Cross stitch. Do a general search: Holiday Samplings by Plum Pudding Needleart and it pops up ❤😊
Thanks so much for looking! I did indeed find it on Etsy & purchased it! If I remember correctly, you stitched them on 25ct lugana 1 over 1? Is that correct? I just love how yours came out! Not sure if my eyes can handle that small though...gotta love this aging thing!! Might give it a try...
I have the Vanessa Ann book that has the Apple Crisp recipe. I believe it's called Buttermilk Biscuits. I've stitched the flour bag in that book. You made a great rescue!
I would've definitely rescued that Apple Crisp sampler as well!❤ I looked that up on ebay and the book also has a companion piece called Strawberry Shortcake.
I used the called for floss on my Lighthouse. In hindsight I would use a DMC red for the Lighthouse instead of the fancy floss because I think the design within it would show better. Too much extra work putting in those designs to not be noticed!
@@pattyso thank you Patty! It’s on my table to be kitted but like a crow I’m in my craft room having “Oh, shiny!” moments and started kitting up a Pigeon Design 😅🤦🏼♀️Have to do the lighthouse too after seeing yours!🥰
Put candles in the freezer, when they frozen just nudge the edges with a knife or a screwdriver. It will pop right out. your other glass piece looks like Fenton Glass. I don't know how to find out if it is, but they are collectables.
Flosstuber - Stitching by the Shore (?) just found that error ( Summer Quaker)! She is going to see how she can resolve as she has the entire border almost complete. Pillows are great!
