I mean they are the same MiDi version of the track, but 2 only plays it once. The series always makes sure to play it twice but Builders 2 is an exception.
That is probably the most wonderful inspiring theme songs to get you to feel so happy about a game since Dragon Quest 8. Does anyone know if there is a version of this song that's on recent Dragon Quests like Heroes or another one. I'd like to hear those versions as well. 😃
Jon-Mark W it's actually the main theme! My favourite is the dragon's quest XI version from the opening and also the old one you can find played by an orchestra if you search "orchestral" or something
Basically the hero from DQ (The very first Dragon Quest game) screwed up. He chose to have half of the world for him and half for the Dragonlord. Now Builder over here gotta go do his job since "Hero" screwed big time and got scammed lmao Tl;dr: If you choose "Yes" when the Dragonlord offers you half the world in the original Dragon Quest this happens.
Both games follow the same premise of hero saving the world from villain set on destroying the world However this is a spinoff of 1 where the hero sacrifices the entire world for a piece of land literally called "the edge of the world" So it's not far from botw in terms of theme
@@OHHHHUSBANT No just that, the villain "accomplishing" his goal (Dragonlord unleashing his power like Calamity Ganon 100 years prior to the events of the game), the hero being "dead" until he got revived and NPCs living in settlements around the ruins of a great kingdom.
@@ikagura the hero isn't dead in this game He's literally gone mentally insane from isolation from his tiny piece of land he sold the entire world for lmao (I'm pretty sure toriyama added his joke in) Through the game where you can draw direct parallels to botw is dq11 where both link and the luminary are brothers from another world lmao
This is the game that got me into the Dragon Quest franchise as a whole
The way he looks past the horizon like "Yeah, you just wait. I'm comin for ya"
It’s actually an Easter egg of dq1 when the hero looks at the castle
Dragon Lord: "Hmm is thou so builder!?"
This song makes me cry with happiness
I want to see this kid in the new smash bros
YES I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE
Steve is the builder if he plays in the DQ scenario (?
@@Apolo_059 yes, the main character from DQ 11 is in smash, but not Builders.
One of the best game intros
Help! I like this intro much more than Builders 2!
I like 2 better
I like both
@@liveque9002 same
I like the 2nd intro better my only concern is that the intro to the 2nd one is too short 😆

Hail Buildrick
I really miss this game so much 😭😞😖
I love Dragon quest builder and I love Dragon quest builder 2 I love it and I love japan and Japanese video games japan my favourite Japan
ok lol
Este juego me hizo llorar, fue hermoso
That whole apple killed me
just to let you know, the upper comment was a joke, it sounded funnier in my head
I feel this is an au version of the prince of midenhall
Fair enough, seeing as this game would take place at the same time as 2, so Alef's "descendant" has to clean up his mess.

@@notadrawer7261 doesn’t the original dragon quest hero appear as a boss in this game as well?
@@b_Wtv14 Yes, yes he did. That bastard was pretty strong.
I like the soundtrack
Holy crap I didnt realize how superior this opening was to DQ builders 2, wow.
I prefer the opening of DQB 2 but this was really good. Now is it just me or does the guy at 1:06 look like bonanzo from DQB 2?
J really like music game ❤❤❤
this video was published on my 10th birthday
.... I kinda like the opening before the fanfare here than in the sequel lol
The kid looks like geno
DUDE HE FUCKIN DOES!!!
YO THAT IS BLUE TOON LINK!!!
The theme of the game remind me of Breath of the Wild somehow.
