Yeah, I'm always amazed by how much i'm spending now. It seems like everything is $4.99 average. Thinking back to the 90s when I had to convince my mom to let me spend $2.95 on the X-Men Fatal Attractions hologram covers!!
Im not sure if you’re aware or if it’s already been said in the comments, but that Batman/santa comic with the face has a back cover that’s scented. Blew my mind!
I'm a big Captain America fan, but when I first saw the Cap Wolf book I easily said No Thanks! However, I was in my local comic shop and picked up the book just out of curiosity (I guess I was just looking for another book to read and purchase). I remember after opening the book I immediately fell in love with the awesome artwork that I purchased it and took it home to read. The storyline was good and easy to follow and did I tell you how AWESOME the art work was. After reading the book I called my comic shop and told them to hold the entire series for me. So glad I did and I'm loving the book.
STOP. WHAT. YOU. ARE. DOING!!! And go see GODZILLA! You won't regret it. As a collector of action figures (1/6 and 1/12), LEGOS, 4k steelbooks/movies, vinyl records, AMP art prints, mechanical keyboards, and Comic Books. I had to cut Comic Books out of my collecting because it was painful for my wallet weekly. Everything else is preorder months ahead which i could manage. Not weekly.
Yes but I still love comics all my life I've been reading still love them and at this moment stories are incredibly good, I get my books monthly and I get a discount, like 30 titles usually 100 to 150 depending on variants covers.
Yeah, one, two, three and I breeze through a comic book. It's not worth the money. I just read science fiction and fantasy novels now. You get more story for your dollar.
For Marvel comics I would just do Marvel Unlimited. You can get it on sale at times for less than $5 per month, and you have access to 1,000's of Marvel Comics. You have to wait a few months before they post the current ones but it's really worth it to me. Speaking of comics, I'm so into the new Transformers comic by Image, and the new G.I. Joe, Duke, and Cobra Commander is about to come out. Yeah!
I’ve completely stopped collecting single issues besides the occasionally one shot. 4-5 bucks, sometimes 6-8, is absolutely too much money. Not to mention mainstream comics are incomprehensibly awful. Art and writing is basically AI. I assume most people collect for sheer nostalgia alone at this point. Artist editions, manga, and trades only.
Admit I haven't been to the local comic ship in awhile cause thinking to just get trades for the most part. If a story I really wanna read as comes out I'll buy like the New ultimate Spider-man
STOP THE VIDEO. Stop the video NOW! Go and see Godzilla Minus One. Such a good movie. Godzilla wrecks stuff, and the human storyline is just so well done. There is a reason this film has been extended stateside. So good.

I try to get issue ones of comics that look interesting and go from there. I read the rebel moon comic and thought it was boring
