YES!! I'm going through this with my crassula campfire right now. I live in a four season climate and I had this weirdo green plant that no matter what I did would not change color so I refused to believe it was crassula capitella because I've only seen those in brilliant colors. So it is winter time here right now and I'm in the middle of doing an experiment with a rooted cutting that I took. I have it out in my garage under an LED lamp and it's changing color! LOL all it needed was a little bit of cooler air and less water!!!! I made the mistake of taking all of my succulents indoors too soon this year. I just picked this hobby back up so I was a little green. Thank you for always having such amazing educational informative videos.
Thanks Janet, so glad you watched this one, actually a bit of a chance conversation whilst filming another video, but we decided to publish it. Very interesting to see what climate and growing conditions do to different succulents. The concept of stressing them, can mean so many things, for different plants, heat or cold are just two, and each of these can do different things, the amount of water also has an impact as does pot size and fertilizer..... Hoping to add a little more of this to future videos , interested in hearing what happens to your experiment.
@@johnnyAGardening I watch all of your videos LOL as I mentioned I just picked this back up as a hobby because of the world's situation right now but even as a hobby I take it seriously and do a lot of research and try to learn all I can and your videos have helped me tremendously ❤️

An added benefit to letting one’s succulents ‘stress’ is that you can stress less about watering, fertilizing and fussing over your plants.
👍
