this video does not have any intention of hating on the player(s) featured in the video.
De Gea has never been the same since the World Cup. What could have caused this? Maybe, his performance against Portugal where he made a mistake. That could've painted his future performances. This video highlights all the errors that de Gea has made post-World Cup. This video has no intention of bringing de Gea down, however it is for motivation. His latest performance against Chelsea was dreadful to some fans. Throughout these hard times, he has also made spectacular saves. But what's impacting his fundamentals? You're right he missed a penalty and he hasn’t saved any since 2016 when he saved the last penalty for Man Utd but it’s not all his fault for everything this final is all his fault but in the
premier league after all he still plays with Lindelof Maguire and with Jones this season ahead of him as central defenders

no it's not that simple you have to know to read the side he's shooting at and throw yourself in there of course you need luck and you can't always read but even if like de gea in
3-4 penalties in a row they shot hit the side and throw yourself but you pass the ball through your hands it's bad I mean it's not a hate to de gea he's my favorite goalkeeper but he's been an invisible man on the field for the last 2 seasons

The goal conceded in final is just a joke. Never saw that kind of goal in professional level football. Any semi professional level keeper should have saved that miserable goal.

This is the reason we bought Aaron Ramsdale. Leno been on decline aswell and Leno had no competition. Now he has, either Ramsdale becomes #1 or Leno gets his form back.

as a goalkeeper, im used to this type of judgement. i can only imagine a professional keeper like de gea is tired of hearing about the errors hes made, as hes still one of the greatest keepers in soccer.

I agree that he was having a bad form compared to his previous godlike seasons during 18-20. But in those same seasons he saved our ass so many times like the one against Tottenham which was Ole’s 4th game as a manager, he literally saved that guys job

It really Gets me angry to see how people react on this mistakes . Pepe dont understand how hard IT is to be a goal keeper . If a player has a bad Day well that's fine but if a goal keeper has a bad Day well that's a disaster . And people dont forget goalkeeper mistakes that ez. If a Striker misses a really good change that hé should have made people forget IT in 2 min. If a goal keeper misses a ball that hé should have had People talk about that for days sometimes weeks. As a keeper you have to always perform at your best and their is a constant pressure that you need to be amazing. Its not arrogants that hé had when he took to much time its that constant doubt that hé probably is feeling . And i know the feeling because IT is hunting me for a way to long time now and slowely its getting a bit better Every Day . And i have that after i couldnt grab a ball in a second half i played a good first 1 and randomly i could do anything. Every ball on net was a goal and IT went from 1-1 to 1-8 in 15 min. I have never had such thing and IT blasted all my convidence away . I dont say this to make you feel sorry for me because that's not what i want i tell this to make you understand what a really bad second half of a goal keeper can do to the game and to the goalkeeper himself. De gea needs support not people that say stuff like hé is arrogant or let him sit on the bange OR whatever . Because believe me being a goal keeper is super hard because 1 bad second half destroyed every single convidence i build up in all those years of being in goal . So never say its ez OR never say bad things about a goal keeper because you dont know how hard IT is only when you are 1 yourself

Absolutely terrible to see one of the greatest goalkeepers of his time suffer from such a terrible decline. I'm grateful for the fact that his teammates and Ole have been there to support him through this and I can tell he's starting to get over this rough period. He might not be the same person he was pre-Ronaldo, but I firmly believe he'll be better.

And his reflexes became so terrible
That's why I think it was purely mental
Because goalkeeping is mainly about that : keep focus and take the good decision as quickly as a reflex
All spanish goalkeepings Cassilas, Valdez, Reina had shocking declines when they hit 32-33 years of age.. However De Gea's downfall is the worst. Since his early days his distribution, physcal presence , commands in the box haven't improved while his shot saving skill has gone downhill

This is such as sad video.. because this guy was our BEST player for three seasons and was amazing before that too. He saved us countless times with Phil jones and smalling as a pairing with rojo as the back up. How he has maguire and lindeloff. The guy has had shit centre backs in front of him for years and for only the past three he’s struggled since the World Cup. He’s lost his GK coach and hasn’t looked the same since. But prior to that he was arguably the best in the world. People making videos like these and all of the comments shitting on the guy during his worst times and a goalkeeper is just sad. Especially if you’re a fan of united. The guy is also having to now have to play out from the back when he is a shot stopper and not good with the ball at his feet. Fans are just shameful and so is the media. The guy had the most amount of clean sheets per games with centre backs like these shows how good he is.
