naw houses are different. if the water was only a few feet high and it's like...structurally ok, just cut out all the drywall below the water line, treat the wood and replace it all. It sounds like a lot of work, and it IS a lot of work....but it's still a pretty easy way to quickly rebuild after an event like this.
Cars, though? Used post-flood cars are a HUGE scam market. Those things are usually _done._ But a house can be saved pretty easily.

    From 1960:
The worst flood in years hit eight counties in Central Florida following a three-day storm that dumped as much as 25 inches of rain in some parts of the state. The area around Tampa suffered the most and 8,000 persons have had to flee their homes inundated by the swollen Hillsborough River. People in the fashionable Forest Hills section have faced three floods in a little over a year and many complained because the city of Tampa failed to solve their drainage problems after a flood last summer. Many are still paying on loans for house repairs they had to make. It
will take several days before all evacuated families can return home.

☢️THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age brought by Christ to purify man with His Word"
      Almighty God said

EARTHQUAKES WILL START THE VERY MOMENT I ENTER THE SPIRITUAL PLACE from the HUMAN BODY. So I say the FIRST-BORN CHILDREN will NEVER SUFFER DISASTER. 🙏
PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT FIRSTBORN CHILDREN WILL BE LEFT IN DISASTER and SUFFER. So, for mankind, everyone is ready to be a first born son. People's visions are to escape suffering from disaster. This is the plan of the big red dragon. Yet I will never let it escape. I will SUFFER it with My SEVERE PUNISHMENT and THEN still STAND and SERVE Me (this refers to making My children and My people perfect, let it forever be deceived by its own snare, forever accept My judgment, andforever accept My burning. This is the true meaning of making servants praise Me (using them to reveal My great power). 🔴
I will not allow the GREAT RED DRAGON to sneak into My KINGDOM, and I WILL NOT ALLOW the great red dragon the RIGHT TO PRAISE Me! (Because it is not worthy--never worthy!) I will only SERVE it to Me UNTIL UNTIL--FOREVER! I will only let it prostrate before Me. (Those who are destroyed are bettered than those who are in destruction. Destruction is only a temporary severe punishment, but those who are in perdition will suffer severe punishments forever, so I use "prostrate." Because these people sneak into My home and enjoy My grace greatly, andthey have little knowledge of Me, I use severe punishments. As for those who are outside My house, you can say that the fool will not suffer.) In the UNDERSTANDINGS OF PEOPLE, they THINK that those who will be DESTROYED are WORSE than those who are in DAMAGE, BUT ON THE CONTRARY, those who are in DAMAGE MUST BE STRIPPEDPUNISH FOREVER, and those who are DESTROYED will RETURN to LOSS forever. 🔴🙏
From "The Word Appears in the Flesh"
Fulfillment of (John 1:1) and (Ezekiel 2:9-10), (Revelation 18:9,13)
The Savior has returned and He or Christ fulfilled His building of the kingdom/church on top of the rock or standing in the worthy holy place in the air/RUclips! When He came He fulfilled what was prophesied in the book of Revelation and from there it is recorded that He changed a new name and the name of His city from ("THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD" 💐) "The Epistle to the church of Philadelphia" "The one who overcomes will be I will make a pillar totemple of my God, and he shall not be removed from it forever. I will engrave on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem that will come down out of heaven from my God. I will also engrave him with my new name. (Revelation 3:12). ... "The Reign of the Prince of Peace" "For a baby boy is born and he will rule over us. He is the wonderful counselor, the Almighty God, the eternal Father, the Prince of peace." (Isaiah 9:6). ... "For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their SHEPHERD. He will lead them to springs of life-giving water; and God will wipe away the tears from their eyes." (Revelation 7:17).
"They said together, "Salvation comes from the Lamb, and from our God who sits on the throne!" (Revelation 7:10). ... So God's sheep and the right people He created have come to His holy city the New Jerusalem that will only last on earth for 1,000 years "THE CHURCH OF ALMIGHTY GOD"💐

Until Florida is willing to create sustainable building regulations there should be no more federal dollars going there for infrastructure. Sad to see so many people impacted. Im blessed that all the roads leading to my home are built over hills, and my house itself is on top of a large hill, so I don't have to worry about flooding too much. The winds are a different story though, and they do make me worry whenever a hurricane passes through.

  • @mvpmatteo
    @mvpmatteo Месяц назад

What’s so weird is none of this damage is due to the hurricane. The wind wasn’t that strong and not what damaged everything. It barely rained so it wasn’t due to heavy rainfall either.
The ONLY thing that caused all this damage was the increased water levels.
If you look at TGH hospital that was surrounded by flooding. They used water walls and they were completely safe. Florida should invest in these same water walls to prevent this from happening.

There are plenty of places inland in Florida, some within no more than a few miles of the ocean, that can have elevations as much as 25 feet or more. Nothing wrong with having a home in such locations. Unfortunately, many homes were built in the '50s and '60s on canals on both coasts, with elevations of no more than 3 to 5 ft. A recipe for a disaster when even a mild hurricane hits. The only thing that will stop this is for the federal government to quit underwriting the heavily subsidized federal flood insurance in such areas.
