. Before Aliou Cisse came our expectations for this team was non existant. I'm still surprised we won an Afcon at all. , and in 2021 Afcon we didn't play an Ivory Coast or Nigeria or Cameroon or Morocco. Algeria were bad and I can't lie Egypt almost beat us before extra time. Our road to the final felt like that of PSG in 2020.I can say the same for 2019 Afcon imagine if we had played Nigeria or Ivory coast instead of Tunisia in the semis. Do we make that final? But hey a win is a win. In 2017 I thought we went from losing to Libya to getting a draw against Algeria. A previous version of ourselves wouldn't have taken advantage of a favorable draw.
