@@tomashavlicek2972 I know how to fix this! i had the same problem when i got my 4070 ti, you need to make sure you have DOCP on in bios if you dont already. makes a world of difference.

Sorry for my ignorance but I still need to learn some things in the pc specs so I need some guidance. I have a 3070 and a r7 3700x, andI mainly play in 1440p. I know the 4090 will be too much for that but would it be okay if I actually pair the 4090 with the 5800x3d? I know that zen 4 might be better but Im not sure if it would be worth buying also a new motherboard and new ram. Thank you in advance :)
@@NickFje marketing tactics as usual... the pcie5 is more for data transfer rates on m2 slots I assume or a gpu that is doing some crazy cinematography. Computers that are only available is high end universities or Disney Hollywood
@@Holyspiritrecieved pcie 2 which was released in 2007 still holds up well but loses some performance in some games. I think pcie 3.0 possibly are good enough for the next generation gpu’s too without noticeable performance loss.
So is hunt cpu intensive at 1440p bc most games I play at max on my 165hz monitor it never really drops below 155 at worst yet in hunt I’m getting like 130-140 on max settings I have a 5800x3d and 3080 Edit: I missed seeing the cpu bottle neck originally

Well, i have about 150 fps on high preset with I9-9700k @4,6 GHz, with 4090 on 70% of power limit. I was worried about bottlenecking by CPU, but with 120 hz tv, its ok. :)

I own 3d and 3090 and cant move over 150 fps on 1440p, idk whats wrong. I used to have 6900 xt and had almost twice as much fps.

the 7000 will not be as awesome as the 3d. because the v cache scores 100% on hunt that is why it is the best hunt cpu

7000 ryzens will not show amazing fps compared to 5800x3d, the latter has proven itself too well in hunt.
If you're going with a 4090 just stay in 4K as all CPUs will be the bottleneck as your GPU bound.

Is there much difference between this cpu and others. Just wondering if it can even max the 4.0 bandwidth spectrum... making 5.0 pci worthless
The difference is not even noticeable between pcie 3.0 and 4.0. In benchmarks you can expect a few percent difference which is within margin of error.

I lucked out and built my pc on ryzen 7... Intel is said to have way better performance in hunt with same specs as a ryzen pc.
