Hi, I'm not a computer graphics expert, but let's see how changing
some parameters affects the image and FPS.

    Why did you recommend FSR when it has such terrible ghosting compared to DLSS/DLAA?

      I have two reasons: 1. I rarely notice FSR ghosting, but often see poor DLSS detail 2. DLSS is only available for RTX GPUs, while FSR is for everyone. In any case, choose what you like best, I do not insist.

    8:24 Is 'Render Latency' the same thing as Frame Time(время кадра) but just called differenty? Or is it a completly seperate thing? UPD: if someone has problems with displaying ranger latency by using Nvidia App, try using Geforce Expreience. Helped me

    I always just set everything to low because I couldn't be bothered figuring out what worked. But I am going to try your Non Annoying settings 2 for Mid-Range and see how it goes. So far in the shooting range it seems to be a good balance of visuals and performance 👍

    Пасиба, было бы отлично узнать ещё какой инпутлаг будет если поставить лок фпс чтобы нагрузка видюхи не была в сотку. То есть разницу между вертикалкой, разлоченным фпс и внутриигровым локом фпс

      @@DITRlSH при локе инпут лаг все ещё чуть лучше, чем при упоре в ГП с работающим рефлексом

      After the 1896 update not really so much anymore. When the update first launched I had an RTX 2060, and a ryzen 5 5600x. I averaged around 70-80 fps on high to medium setting 1080p, at 100% gpu utilization and 20-30% on the CPU. I recently upgraded to a 3070, but kept the cpu cause I don't have the funds to upgrade to a new platform right now. (AM5, LGA1700, ETC). Now on 1440p all high, no dlss or any bs I get around 140-170 with 70-80% gpu utilization and 60-80% CPU utilization. At this point yes I am CPU bottlenecked but that's not the games fault, that's my currents setups.

    how did u turn on the reflex with no Vsync? I can use reflex only with Vsync for some reason...

      Consider this another bug from crytek. Reflex should not have been hidden behind vsync initially.

    Nice to see some more testing done, focuses on different things than my own tests, I had to recollect data with the engine update. The presentation of the data is nice but I do have a few questions for you; this is 1080p correct? What was the testing process you followed with the settings. Were you turning all settings to low and turning them up individually, then once done with that setting reducing it to low and turning up the next one? Depending on the order you changed the settings it can affect the results, especially for LoD. I tested setting presets with my own hardware to find FPS averages and other hardware stats. Fun Fact, hunt has a very slow memory leak.

      With a 90% limit, the remaining 10% is occupied by the system and other applications. But as shown in the video, 10% is not enough and the game gets less video memory than you set as a limit. Because of this, the GPU waits for data from RAM coming through the slow PCIe bus. When you choose a 70% limit, the remaining 30% will be enough for other applications in most cases.

    Very very good content! Really appreciate. You convinced me that a lot of settings must stay in medium : Low seem's very bad looking but all the others higher definition settings doesn't add much. Am I wrong or you got better result by reducing the vram to max 70% ?

    Great video! Just one thing: what is the difference between object quality and view distance ratio?

      View Distance Ratio is how far an object can be before you can no longer see it at all (Things do not render further away). Object Quality is the cut off range for texture quality and geometry complexity(Things look worse further away). So you can have low object quality and high view distance if you want to see blurs in the distance

      no pretty sure frs isnt as good..but frs can be used with any gpu.. probably ups and down for both..i find fsr to be too blurry

      It's the same idea but FSR is open source from what I known… and overall less good looking.

      They have different algorithms, but in Hunt FSR it looks better (except for ghosting)

      Because you now have the 70% limit reached before you run out of video memory

      @@huntyaga8431 To elaborate: upon filling up video memory allocation, some games page textures to system ram which is a slow process in comparison so this is likely why performance plummets (better than crashing though!). However, reducing allocation means that swapping textures in and out needs to happen more frequently so you may see lower quality textures before pop in occurs.

    This is such a godsend, I've been looking for something like this since 1896. The game has been feeling like it's running like shit since the update, I didn't even know there's the reflex setting cause it didn't come up with my previous settings.       FSR Native AA - это только сглаживание без масштабирования. Оно превосходит SMAA 2TX по качеству, но, если обратить внимание на FPS, является более требовательной к видеокарте.
