This was the game that proved to all the wannabe experts that Chubb's value is ENORMOUS. Had so many of these jokers on Browns Facebook pages trying to educate me about how its a pass first league and Chubb would be gone after last season. Too expensive and easily replaceable. Our Super Bowl dreams DIED when Chubb went down. Plain and simple.

I do agree that Watson didn’t play as bad as the numbers indicated, but this was the worst performance of his nfl career.
The fact that he gave up two defensive tds and they lost by 4. I knew then that he and the team would be ok. Hopefully we get a full season of Watson and Chubb next season

I never say that one person wins or loses a game. Its always a team effort. But watching this game live i remember feeling like deshaun Watson single handedly lost this game. I felt like if we had any other qb in the nfl we win that game. Watson was 22/40 passing with 1 pick 6, 1 fumble returned for a td and had a QBR of 14.8! So many of his throws just went right into the ground too. And as we know his stats the rest of the year would still be below average and thats being generous considering he ranked 25th or lower in qbr, passer rating, and pff grade for the rest of his 2023 season. Games like this make you wonder if deshaun will ever get back to even playing average football in the nfl. He looks so broken since the 2020 nfl season. Stats will back that statement 100%.

The first play of the game is the problem with stefanski offense. We had a full week to draw up a stick route to our backup TE. Max output would have been 2 yards. This is some stone age level offense in 2023

  • @clevelandcbi

    1. Our offense allowed more points than our defense.
    2. Our QB had 2 facemask penalties called on HIM.
    3. Most universally loved Brown in decades suffered an injury that almost made me puke.

    • @thefonzies6895

He was grabbing face mask cuz they dirty and his arm was broken. Secondly we were called for 4 holding calls and as good as our d line is they were called for zero. Watson facemask was grabbed twice no call. Dpj pass interference also. And one of their guys went helmet to helmet wasn't called he fined the max amount. That's what lost the game the refs

The worst game was the playoff game. They didnt even come to play. They were way better than what showed up. That is what needs to be fixed. I have not seen yet that they have overcome not being prepared and fired up for a huge game. Not the ones that dont mean much. Still waiting on that. On watching back I see nothing different. Nearly all the bad stuff happened when we tried to keep passing, passing, passing. Play calling.
It's the insistence with the passing game when we already knew it wasn't our strength due to our OL being better at run blocking. We were at Pittsburgh where you mustn't allow the crowd into the game and pick their team up. Where you must not give them easy points as their Offense is bad (via turnovers and definitely not Defensive points).

How many yds was the team rushing for when Flacco was playing. Avg ypc? Why did Flacco throw 2 pick 6s in the playoff game? Could it be bc he was an antiquated QB in an ANTIQUATED offense that the HC of HOU had played against his WHOLE career? Didn't he tell his guy where to be for the pick 6? And your boy-- who HAS to stay within the offense-- threw it right to him. Didn't look him off or nothing. Just robotic. Oh...almost forgot...you guys should really stop watching Browns content; the intensity of your hate does nothing but make you say stuff that really shines a light on your lack of critical thinking skills...

It was a bad draft. We could have gotten impact players who can start and build for the future as well.
    I would have drafted:
DB-Javon Bullard in the 2nd. Best player available at this time.
LB-Payton Wilson in the 3rd. Best player available at this time as well as filled a need.
WR-Johnny Wilson in the 5th. Best player available at this time as well as filled a need. A 6'6" WR who has a faster 40 time than both Tillman and Bell.
LB/S James Williams was available at this time as well as filled a need. He is a bigger but slower version of JOK who can play the SAM LB.
Two of my favorite players in the draft were available in the 7th. TE/H-Back Jaheim Bell and OL Nick Garguilo were both the best players in the round as well as filled the need.
Jaheim Bell is basically a more athletic Harrison Bryant/Johnny Stanton. His ceiling is David Johnson from the Cardinals. His floor to me is Lawrence Vickers.
Garguilo can play all 5 spots on the OL and play each spot well.
He missed on, so many players in this draft. AB gets a C-/D+. I think Hall, Thrash, and Watson are the only players from ABs picks who have a great chance to make the 53. Zinter will begin the season on the PUP list. The rest of his draft class will be on the PS.
