There is so much to comment on your fabulous journal and the techniques. For one is the art glitter glue; after it dried, it was not noticeable. Merry Belated Christmas Nina and a blessed and Happy New Year 2023 to you! I was your #1 like seeing this video before I go to my job. It is presently 7:12am. The sun is a pretty sunrise out my living room window. I loved the composition of these pages you put together today and I love how this creative box of vintage style of papers and the photography theme Al comes together. I especially like the honor to music/violin. Shortly before Christmas I came down with a bug at the same time it became very cold with low teens for close to a week. Not feeling well and it being very cold I never ventured over to my storage unit to get my mom's child hood violin. Every Christmas she put it up on her mantle and even since she had passed last Christmas I put it up on her mantle. My flat is so tiny and not a lot of closet space I had it in storage but it is tight by the door in a state of the art storage company environmentally safe for fine furniture and paintings etc. Saturday I am going to go retrieve it and keep it here everyday as I have organized lots and hope to give up the bin soon and financially that will help too. I have always loved photography and have placed in acouple of photography shows. I recently ordered a tiny diecut camera and it is made out of wood. I want to use that somehow on a piece of artwork. This winter is suppose to be a very harsh winter so I plan on staying put and keeping the tea kettle on and doing lots of creative projects. I have my mom's nice large harvest table and I want to move it closer to my large dining room window side. I shall close. I enjoyed seeing your project today and I am like you. The packaging always intrigues me and I save the wrappings for another day. I love boxes and wrapping paper and my dad when opening up his gift was quite anxious for me to see his piece of jewelry and he and my boyfriend laughed as I was checking out the box the necklace came in. Hi Nina! I love how you used the YCS contents this month! The combination you used on the side by side pages was amazing just how well they went together beautifully. LOVE the idea of stamping on the acetate! My stamp backing is long gone but I’ll remember the idea in the future. I’m currently working on my October pages in my 8x8 YCS Journal with November and December waiting for me. I haven’t decided yet about continuing them in the new year as I’ve acquired quite the stash from the twelve 2022 monthly boxes as well as other collage style purchases. We will see… I’ll probably see an unboxing video and say, “I have to have it!” LOL Thanks for sharing your creativity and inspiration! Did a photography project once on a photographer called John Hinde who created brightly postcards of Ireland. It would have been nice to have had these photographic ephemera to embellish my submission with.
