Today I just want to also share my big brainrot over these two: First off, when I started playing Ensemble Stars I already have a previous impression of it thanks to all the shitposts, Tumblr and crazy plot that is clickbait but isn't. And this was from years ago, I have known this game existed but never got near it because it's japanese only and I was a noob at technology. My impression of it was a weird rhythm game and thought all those crazy plots were just exaggerations, that people who play it were a little odd. However I don't think that's a bad thing, I find it admirable to find so many people passionate about it. Coming to the present, I was one of the early players who downloaded Ensemble Stars!! the moment it went global. All I can say is that it's even crazier then I ever imagined once I read the main story. For the first time, I was genuinely shocked and surprised by something. It intrigued me, it set me ablaze, it made me become one of many who are so enamored with the game. I wanted to know more, so I did my best on events, if I can't get the cards atleast I can get the stories. While doing so, I was catching up and reading the main story. Today, it has been... a month(?) since the main story has concluded. It... It was a lot to take in. I didn't think there would come a day where I would be so confused, unsure and sad then what I usually am daily. The story was.... really eye-opening and kind of yes, rots my brain so much. As if it's taking all the nutrients from it and I am glad it does. Even now, I still haven't processed what happened in main story. What I gathered right now is that Ensemble Stars has such a unique way of telling its story. It's exposition most of the time, which I don't think is delved a lot into, and is frankly, a difficult topic and format than most stories. The best thing that comes out from this format is that we have a deep understanding of the characters because they say a lot of things. A con is sometimes, a character talks so much that it's overwhelming, in a good or bad way, it depends on the reader. What I find most intriguing is because its a kind of format that talks so much, shows a lot that it's jarring when the text that follows after is "....". I found this at that moment when it was Niki and Rinne. I find it most wonderful that the game makes the characters have these intriguing relationships with one another and is not afraid to make them look bad or awful. It makes the story so much more genuine, so human-like. And it hits hard the most when this supposed tough character with a loud and domineering disposition becomes meek, quiet and shy later on. The character who talked shit from the beginner is suddenly silent. And you'd usually think "Finally, they've shut up" but in this story you can't help but feel ache seeing that. I don't know if I can say anything anymore other than Rinniki is real and they should get married. RINNE is bastard big bro and we love him for it. And Niki should definitely be compensated for life for dealing with this dumbass😭😭😭 ..... I'm still not over main story ending it seems

Comforting your bff when he's in his lowest and worst situations as well? Even though he grows up to be a bastard like that and just casually accepting him? Gosh, we need to raise this man's salary
