Riding with a mask !!!! Who doest that ? Block the air filter and the exhaust in your car, and see how it will perform . Im Not hating it just makes no sense 😕🤷
Not sure if you are making sense out of this. You mention AIR FILTER of your car.... Which you think is normal right. But when I mention air filter for your body it's wrong? The mask is not blocking the filter, it is the filter.. makes sense? Not needed in clean air off course!🤙(like I mention in the review)

Normally i hate to wear masks in general but the pollen count on my routes has been so high that its virtually suicide when i leave the house. the F1s mask interests me but since they arent sold on amazon, I dont want to buy one then be stuck with it if i decide that i dont like it - This is the biggest hurdle that's stopping me from ordering one.
I have been in need of a good mask for cold riding since I ride all winter when sunny here in Toronto. The Z5H would be ideal. Without a good mask I tend to get nose bleeds.
zit het gemakkelijk ? ik rijd iedere dag naar het werk ( koersfiets ) en zoek een goed masker die niet te vochtig word ( of nog werkt als het nat is / regent )
@@jasperverkuijl I do have pollen allergy and to be honest I haven't tried the mask in question, but I have tried multiple different ones and none seem to help in the slightest - it makes it worse to be fair because the pollen will get stuck to it and you are then breathing it in off the cloth. What does seem to work (for me) is increasing the effort level - at some point the symptoms are gone. But once you are done all the stuff you have in your system will kick in and it's pretty bad so you have to shower well (even breathing in some water to flush the canals).
@@saxy1player Hey there! Thanks for this feedback. Pollen can get stuck on cloth, and be a huge problem, making the washing key. Also, the filter is the washable mask itself, so washing post use clears out the filter making it good to use again. This is a cloth mask, but it is actually knitted to also be filter, keeping the interwoven fabric between pollen and airways. These masks in particular are popular in Japan where there are a few pollinators that create a very powerful pollen season.
Hey Jasper. Ik zou graag een masker uit de F reeks proberen ( F1S). Ik heb tijdens goed weer al jaren last van hooikoorts. Hi Editz25 Smithoni, You make a great point. NAROO’s breathing solutions weren’t developed for COVID-19 because our company was begun nearly 20 years before it occurred. We create solutions to help sports people deal with environmental issues that began before and will continue after COVID. That said, the key point of our masks, balaclavas, etc is that they’re breathable and washable. They provide much more protection than regular cotton masks. If you’re looking for filtering masks, the F-Series filters particles as small as 1.7 microns. The normal droplet is about 5 microns in size. Also, the mask is sealed on all sides, protecting the cheek areas, nose area, and chin area from incoming droplets.
Neither air pollution, if compared to other cycling masks that use n99 and hepa filters. For someone living in south america, asia, easter/southern europe, this should be a must when commuting.
It's sad to see comments like this. Out of all the videos I create which are ALL FREE FOR YOU to watch, MOST OF THEM are actually not sponsored at all and 100% my own initiative. I get requests for paid advertisment on my channel almost on a daily basis, MOST OF THEM I DECLINE! The reason is that I'm not a sale out, i never let a brand decide what to say, i will always be honest and share both plus and down sides of products in a review. You might be against a covid mask while riding a bike, and mate, i fully agree! I whish that would never be needed. But unfortunately there are already some countries (you know i travel a lot, so I know) that have masks required, even outdoors! (I've already been to places this was needed) Apart from that, I'm wondering if you even watched the review? The masks are made for extreme cold, heat, pollen filter or smog. So when you are not riding in these conditions or when it doesn't bother you, don't use a mask. (Like I mentioned in the review!) These masks are not made for/because of covid so don't treat it like that. I just made a short comparison at the end but that was only a small piece of the review. @vakantieman32 all this

I would go for the N1 to use while cycling when it’s cold or when snowboarding🤙🤙

If the choice is suicide or try a mask for a few $, I don’t see the issue. Give it a go
@@jasperverkuijl 42euro is hardly a few $ 🤣
The masks with copper threads actively kill bacteria, one of the MAIN selling points. But SILVER is much better for this.
Didn't know. Maybe silver is more expensive?

The z5h would be my mask of choice. For my early morning commute. The temperature on the heather can drop quite a bit and a dampy gaiter is not nice 😬
I like the ZH5 for winter ridding the “Xbone” feature sounds really neat, or the Z1 for summer/sun protection and insect filtering.

Great video, the Pearl Izumi ski mask is a good one too, I made a review for that one!
