Could you please tell me if these shoes are actually comfortable for walking 18 holes. Hot weather where I live with steep slopes. Would this cause damage to your knees pushing in from the outside inward? And are the actually comfortable for walking long distances
I just wore them all day yesterday at Kiawah for the PGA Championship. We walked the entire course for a solid 8 hours on a hot day with only 10 minutes of sit-down time for lunch, and my feet still felt great at the end. And in addition to your statement for them running small, do they have a size guide because I have the length and width measured for my foot already. Don't like spending that type of money on a shoe as a guess that they run small so I was hoping that with my measurements I could select the proper size from the get go.

My normal shot is a slice. I was hitting well but I was still all over the place (army golfing) do you think a lesson is the next step? Also is there a glove you recommend?
I went to the golf store and the sales rep told me wearing golf shoes will take 5 strokes off my game. Every since then I just wear regular shoes and deduct the 5 strokes at the end of every round.😂

Mine are very much broken in now so I don't quite recall, but perhaps there was a little bit of break-in time when I first got them - nothing that a round of golf couldn't fix! Are the shoes made specifically for the right-handed swing? Website shows insoles that are left/right foot specific, but make no mention if they are reversible for a lefty. Stacking the insoles for the right hander might be the exact opposite for what a lefty needs!

They are great shoes. I have had a pair for 6 months now, rocking the Gray/Steel as well. The way they fit is very conformable, and it makes surfing my weight forward that much easier. Also, after your purchase, they stay in contact with you and following up. And after the discounts, they really are not much more than any other good shoe. KFC for the feet.

I found I am more consistent with other shoes. For me, the insoles are too thick and I don't feel the ground as well. I have better gripping and better push off of the ground with several other different brands.
I bought into this design concept, to tune of $180.00, My GHIN 2.4. Quality construction, materials. After 1 month notice no difference in performance at all, now 2 months later and same, same. Except feet feel weird just walking the course, due to inner shoe design. Too expensive for no results. Lacing design needs improvement, and not ez to get shoe on without shoe horn.
great all i need is to carry a golf mat around with me, just as the one you were standing on in your video "blooper alert" instead of natural grass. all we need is a shoe with at least a 1/2 inch on either side of the for a stronger balance foundation regardless of shoe brand with a tire grip suction. seeing how they work in real condition on a course in dry and wet situations, in short and tall grass and playing on hills up or down slopes and bunkers, are primary saling points.
I wouldn't have mentioned them in this video if they did not perform well for me on the course in a variety of situations over several rounds, William! I'm not a paid salesman - just a golfer playing some golf and wishing to share my experience and results with respect to an overlooked piece of golf "equipment". Cheers! Tom

There is nothing wrong with supporting a product you believe in. The shoes in this video are unique. They are slightly angled inward which I’ve never seen before. That being said, so far I’m yet to see a product endorsement. However, I would be happy for him if he do because that means he is making money. Don’t we all want to make money doing what we love? I’m willing to bet he wouldn’t endorse a product he couldn’t get behind, so let’s just be chill and grateful that he is giving us amazing content for free. Never forget those are real people at the other end of your comment. Anyways I’ve been struggling along trying to learn this game of golf, and out of all of instruction videos out there, Tom nails it. this video confirmed my suspicion. i use FJ when i walk and i walk a lot. The Athalonz are just heavy for me when walking. Anyway, I played with these shoes few months ago and I was blowing greens. I was making crispy KFC contact, and I wasn't trying to hit far. Most of my approach shots in those rounds were - WTF moments. I used them this weekend and I noticed the gain in distacne. I could hear Spike Lee saying "it's gotta be the shoes". Because my FJ's are lighter and comfy, I wear them most of the time. But I sure wasn't blowing greens, which is a good thing too. BUT, my athalonz is just a solid shoe. But three things keeps me from loving the shoes... They are heavier than my 3 FJ shoes, they don't keep my toes dry when wet out, and they don't feel that comfy for my wide feet - even after talking to the rep who said get a size up. Performance is great. Feel is okay. To be honest, going from my FJ"s to the Athalonz, I feel like I just put on clown shoes.

Very hard for me to believe that a pair of golf shoes are going to make you hit the ball 5-10 yards longer. Any pros out there using them that are not paid to use them?
World long drive champions used them organically - no sponsorship - and they saw an increase of 10-20 yards. Bernhard Langer used the shoes in The Masters this year.
Perhaps until you try these, that is. 😆 Anyway, I've mostly worn FJ's and take no issue with them. They've always been comfortable and fairly durable, but I never knew how dramatically ashoe could favorably affect the swing until now!

My shoes matter....I have EEEE width and need to buy New Balance for a proper fit. Alsoplustoo, a pair of good aftermarket insoles (custom are best) give your arches the proper support.
OH NO!!!! We have gone from that Crispy KFC fun guy to a newer version of that old info-mercial guy, Billy Mays.😁😂🤣 There seems to be a long list of guys pushing these shoes lately. I'm not sure about the whole extra yardage thing, but I do have a couple of pairs of Footjoy Helix shoes, which are one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. Are use track running shoes I believe they have to exact same function and they’re very good and comfy to wear

There is nothing wrong with supporting a product you believe in. The shoes in this video are unique. They are slightly angled inward which I’ve never seen before. That being said, so far I’m yet to see a product endorsement. However, I would be happy for him if he do because that means he is making money. Don’t we all want to make money doing what we love? I’m willing to bet he wouldn’t endorse a product he couldn’t get behind, so let’s just be chill and grateful that he is giving us amazing content for free. Never forget those are real people at the other end of your comment. Anyways I’ve been struggling along trying to learn this game of golf, and out of all of instruction videos out there, Tom nails it. I plan on subscribing this spring when the season starts again up here on New England.

this video confirmed my suspicion. i use FJ when i walk and i walk a lot. The Athalonz are just heavy for me when walking. Anyway, I played with these shoes few months ago and I was blowing greens. I was making crispy KFC contact, and I wasn't trying to hit far. Most of my approach shots in those rounds were - WTF moments. I used them this weekend and I noticed the gain in distacne. I could hear Spike Lee saying "it's gotta be the shoes".
Because my FJ's are lighter and comfy, I wear them most of the time. But I sure wasn't blowing greens, which is a good thing too. BUT, my athalonz is just a solid shoe. But three things keeps me from loving the shoes... They are heavier than my 3 FJ shoes, they don't keep my toes dry when wet out, and they don't feel that comfy for my wide feet - even after talking to the rep who said get a size up. Performance is great. Feel is okay. To be honest, going from my FJ"s to the Athalonz, I feel like I just put on clown shoes.
Yep - I've gotta agree with Spike on this one. I'll even wear a squeaky clown nose on the course for the game benefits these shoes provide!! 😆

Very hard for me to believe that a pair of golf shoes are going to make you hit the ball 5-10 yards longer. Any pros out there using them that are not paid to use them?
World long drive champions used them organically - no sponsorship - and they saw an increase of 10-20 yards. Bernhard Langer used the shoes in The Masters this year.

Anyway, I've mostly worn FJ's and take no issue with them. They've always been comfortable and fairly durable, but I never knew how dramatically ashoe could favorably affect the swing until now!

My shoes matter....I have EEEE width and need to buy New Balance for a proper fit.
Alsoplustoo, a pair of good aftermarket insoles (custom are best) give your arches the proper support.

OH NO!!!! We have gone from that Crispy KFC fun guy to a newer version of that old info-mercial guy, Billy Mays.😁😂🤣 There seems to be a long list of guys pushing these shoes lately. I'm not sure about the whole extra yardage thing, but I do have a couple of pairs of Footjoy Helix shoes, which are one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had. I do believe that comfort on the course will help. Tom, I have some miracle pixie dust that will help your grip when you swing....... where can I send it?

These look like great shoes but to have them shipped across the border and with the current exchange rate, they become expensive.
