This is one of the best reviews of the lighting at night I’ve seen. Great job man. I’m still waiting on my type-s to be built. Have had my preorder in since April. Hopefully production will pick back up soon so they can keep up with the demand. Thanks for taking the time to make the video!
I had an older 2010 MDX, The ELS sound system back then was the best I’ve ever had, Traded it in for 100k Audi, lots of improvements on the Audi but one major disappointment was the Bose sound system it came with, the next up grade was an additional 5k more ….ELS one of the best ever among any make of car
Mike, great review - good idea like no others of going over a Vehicle at Night !! I'm not in my 2022 MDX Advance too much at night (retired -doing mostly local driving during the day). But this serves to show you, how Acura did a terrific Vehicle Redesign . BTW, the Auto Hi Beams work very well !! The only Faux Paux is that Acura should have produced a Sport Hybrid MDX Advance as an ad'l selection. That would have been a absolute No -Brainer for me back in August 2021 when I leased mine.
Great video. Well done. On mine I had the dealer installed welcome light under the front doors and the back tailgate. If you get the running boards you can’t have welcome lights as they mount on the same points of the running board.
Once again you did a fantastic overview of the MDX. Based on your experience and the video is the cabin noise very quiet? It seems newer cars are focusing reducing road noise in the cabin. Keep up the good work.
Hi thank you for reviewing the lighting at night. I have a 2024 MDX Tech package and was considering the fog lights. It's quite expensive. Did you notice a difference with the fog lights on and off? Thank you.
Enjoyed the night review. Just a heads up, approach lighting is an accessory. You can get illuminated door sills as well as underbody lighting that will work with the lighting of the vehicle as you approach it.
Excellent review. I leased a 2023 MDX A-Spec and just noticed that the turn signal and wiper blade stalks do not illuminate at night when other accessory lights are supposed to be on. I don't understand, is this a thing? They do not turn on? I can't find the setting anywhere.
Great suv and wonderful review I just bought the 2023 mdx In carbon liquid with expresso interior advance trim. I was able to start the car with the link but the advance one you suppose to could start with remote fob. I press the lock button then engine hold button and my car doesn’t start and light doesn’t change to green it suppose to I was told and I literally just tried doing it tonight couple times and it did nothing. I will call the dealership tomorrow but do u might know what would be the reason and save me from taking the trip to dealership
Make sure all the doors are fully shut. Try pressing the lock button 2 or 3 times then immediately hold the remote start button for at least 5 seconds. If it is like my Ridgeline then it will still take a few more seconds before it starts.
I love the review! You did such a fantastic job showing the lights. Couple things I wanted to point out is there is a little light on top where the sunroof controls are that shines down in the center console and cup holder area it’s not that bright but it’s there and also the rear door pockets do have lights
I have a 22 MDX Advance - Non Type S - Leased until 2024.. This makes me yearn for a S..... 340 HP is plenty HP IMO. What I feel ACURA missed the boat on...They should have produced a HYBRID like 2017- 2020. The Hybrd MDXs used this 3.0L engine with add'l electric motors which produced 310 HP (vs the 290 HP in the 3.5L) BUT much better Torque and 20% or better MPGs !! That would be my No - Brainer. I hope ACURA doesn't foolishly go All In on all Electric versions. That's a topic for another Forum(s)
Thanks for your feedback! I apologize for the darkness - I'll try to remember to bring the sun along next time we film at night. As for the 'nonsense blog' part, I'm not sure what you mean - It's all about sharing the latest and greatest in automotive technology and features! Maybe I can interest you in one of our 'daylight-only' videos next time?
Acura sure knows how to make a beautiful interior!
But trash infotainment systems lol
@@LexxLuther100 Eh, I wouldn’t say it’s trash
Honestly people nowadays just use Apple CarPlay or android auto when driving

I really love this All-new blue 23' Aruca MDX.
Brilliant job with your videos as always Mike.
I dream of mine to own this beauty and that beautiful Els sound system is just the best car audio system I’ve ever heard💙

@@bobbrown8361happy to hear you back for els sound they are amazing👍
Harmon Kardon has best sound system I’ve ever heard but the ELS is definitely number 2
thank you, nobody shows cars at night, really pretty! Plus excellent heal lights!
I enjoy the night time reviews. It helps me to see how far and bright the headlights are. Thanks for helping me make a decision.
I would like to add that approach welcome lights are available but only as an option/accessory
Thanks for this video. I love this angle shot 4:50.

I can see why :)
@@MikesCarInfo OH YEA because I love Acura
Des the ambient lighting have a setting that will pulse to the music?
Finally, Acura!
I love the night lights review. Keep it up.
That's really nice how they do the 2 ambient colors like Mercedes.
I have the 23 MDX Tech fathom blue pearl. Great car. Very happy with it
0:05 screams cockpit!
Sick car.
What a beauty!!
Very nice, another great review. Keep the night reviews coming.
Great video!
I have a 2023 Acura MDX advanced model. Does it come with puddle lights in the mirrors because mine don’t work if they do.
No it doesn’t come with puddle lights.
there are LED's in each door handle, but no puddle lights. You can add "welcome lights" that are installed under the door sills as an accessory.
Great video. Well done. On mine I had the dealer installed welcome light under the front doors and the back tailgate. If you get the running boards you can’t have welcome lights as they mount on the same points of the running board.
this is fantastic!!! Keep up the great work Mike!
Is it possible to turn on the high beams and the fog lights at the same time
No
No cornering light like the Lexus RX?
Edit: the lights on the car seems to be enough without the cornering lights
Amazing content and quality work! I see you post a night video, I drop what I’m doing and jump right to it. What can I say… I like lights 🤷🏻♂️
No ambient lighting in the cup holders?
Once again you did a fantastic overview of the MDX. Based on your experience and the video is the cabin noise very quiet? It seems newer cars are focusing reducing road noise in the cabin. Keep up the good work.
Yes the MDX is quiet from my experience. Thank you
Maserati tail lights and Star Trek badging. Love it!

You should see if you can get the RDX for this. Its headlight housing is a little different than this one. It has 7 LED projectors per side.
It looks nice yes
What's changed from the 2022 to the 23'?
Nothing. It is a carryover model.
Nice vehicle. Headlights are very good. 👍
link to buy illuminated pointy hand you were using pleaasee??? ❤
Great video! have the sane car & trim.

Where can i find that hand pointer? I love it
It is made by 'Learning Resources' but I customized it.
14:08 as if I needed further confirmation that I stumbled upon rich RUclips 😂
Recently picked up an ASpec. Is there a button to adjust the light/dimming level of the actual gauge cluster?

That is the way it is unfortunately.
Love this interior it just looks so tight in the second and third rows. I hate that most don't extend the ambiant lighting to the third row as well.
which has better lighting at night Acura MDX or infinit iQX60?
Sorry if I missed it but not sure if you mentioned that the interior lights have different brightness settings. Otherwise, great video!
Just wondering when are you going to do a night review of the new Lexus RX? Thanks!
As soon as I get access to one.
I thot I seen all the videos on RUclips for this car, apparently not!🥹

Amazing car but way too overpriced
how much should it be?

Infotainment is dated, hard to use, screen too small, second row seating very hard and uncomfortable
