When I was a Freshman in College, we had a group of us from the gym class go out to the parking lot. The instructor chose me first and had me shoot an arrow up in the air, at a high arc, to see how close we could get it to a steel pole in the field, many yards away. I took my shot and in the quiet morning we all heard a 'ping' when that arrow actually hit the pole. The instructor said, well I guess you win. It was the most awesome experience, I will never forget it. Each time I thinking about archery, I think about that moment in my life.
My brother dies 20 years ago as a young adult. For about 5 years after his death I held on to everything he owned. After a time the Lord impressed upon me that I was idolizing his things because I thought they were a part of him. After I processed that I begin to give his things to people that would enjoy them. My brother lived his life, he didn’t collect things. Honor our loved ones by blessing others!
Loving your family. I lost my oldest 19 year old grandson to drowning in 2011. He turned 19 May 11th, went sky diving the next week. June 19th on Fathers Day he drowned. He was my only sons, son. It’s hard to come back from it. It gets easier but things are never the same. You have a beautiful family & I admire y’all very much. Much love from McCalla, Alabama!💖🇺🇸
Ok, already crying. Sweet little Riv's go cart and the video of him riding it. Granger, you and Amber and your children are the kindest caring Christian people. God Is Definitely Working through you all. God Bless You all and Prayers too. I know that had to of been hard. But God see's everything. Love you all. ❤🎈🙏
London said it best..."At the same time its sharing River's love." I find when we want to give at the spur of the moment , it is usually the right thing to do. Good job Dad!
Who's cutting onions? Seeing River on the cart again just brought tears. Glad his cart is with someone else who will enjoy it. And that keeps his memory alive to others.
London did a lot of work getting all those chickens 🐔in the coup! That last one was a dozie! 😁😯 Glad they will get a new home! Love the new gate with the star on it for your garden! Very nice! 😍💖⭐ Granger, that was very special to give that little boy, Rivers car. I'm sure he will enjoy it very much. Even though that was hard to do, like London said, It made her happy that, that little boy was going to have fun using it everyday! 🥰🥲🙂❤️💖
Hey Granger. Your sermon the truth about God was unbelievable. Your passion and the way you showed how awesome God is. I am 41 years old and it is the best sermons I’ve ever heard in my life. I made my family watch it, my wife cried, I cried and my 11-year-old son cried it was so moving. And seeing River in this video made me think of that sermon how there’s a reason for everything. Your last sermon about being a man. I am trying now to read my Bible all the way through for the first time ever so thank you for giving me a new meeting for life and a new passion for God.
I was 42 yo when the Holy Spirit quickened me and tomorrow it will be 17 years of following our Savior Jesus. Please give me the link of that sermon that was the best you’ve ever heard. Thank you!!
@@nachis3 it is on his other channel called Granger Smith. The sermon is the truth about God. not sure how to do a link it I am not I phone smart 😀. Thanks for your reply.
So good to see sweet River. Tell Tyler I said Frog...at least I think that is what he wanted us to say for the lure. Hope ya'll are having a great week! God bless!
A fun vid with new chicken quarters. London looks like a productive progressing girl. Mav to cute. Way to go Lincoln your football game looked good! Heart felt tug, and I’m sure a blessing to his children. ❤️💙 ~ Texas
As much as it hurts, what an awesome way to share Riv's love for life. Today has been a rough emotional day. This made my heart cry. But, a good cry to know that as short as Riv's life was, his love lives on. 🍍😎🤙🌴🥥🌺🌈🧸
One sweet vlog hardwired memory (one tile in God's mosiac) is Riv speeding along in his go-cart and you see Daddy's shadow, where G is running along side, filming that need-for-speed, adventurous River! Barely, is Granger, able to keep up. Giving Riv's go-cart to Miguel and Alejandro kids, is feeding these childrens need for adventure. LiveLikeRiv
Granger - When my Dad passed away at his home in Riverside on Lake Livingston (they lived in a cove on the lake...really beautiful) what became my Dad's Best Friend , their next door neighbor told me as he sat out on his back porch facing the lake and directly to his left was the wall of my Dad's house and his bedroom and on that wall appeared a huge bright yellow butterfly... My sister was killed in 1980 and her flower casket was made up of tons of yellow roses (her favorite color and flower). I believe and have read that butterflys that pass by you are a symbol that a loved one that's passed is near you and thinking of you. It has happened to me many times in my life time, but the ones I believe are from my Sister or Dad usually are one single butterfly all by itself and I'm usually alone. Its a nice feeling...
You guys are the most beautiful people and amazing I seen ever God is giving you love and strength for all you do for so many people to enjoy much love 🙏🏻✝️☮️❤️💕💙♥️💜💗❤️🩹🌷🌹🍁🎃🙏🏻✝️☮️🙏🏻
London was so sweet about you giving away River's go-cart. She thought about the most important things, those little kids will get to make wonderful memories too! London, You are a fantastic "Chicken Wrangler"!
It was awesome to see you at fredricks outdoors last Saturday...you gained a fan with the friend I took with me and I got the good seats for us...we were celebrating both being cancer free...you were great...not huge venue and the rain didn't help but we were both in awe of your touching everyone..signing anything you were handed and so gracious to everyone and never missed a beat...thank you...checked off a bucket list item while holding my breath with each scan and test as he does...we were living like Riv!!!
We should all, Live Like Riv! What special memories of your precious little Boy! May God bless you for your kindness, Granger! You and Amber are raising your children so well, teaching them to do chores! Tonight's episode was so special! 🙏🕊💕
My family has suffered a few losses over the past couple years and watching you videos really helped my heart heal a little. I would just like to say THANK YOU and your FAMILY for this.
That was a very nice thing to do. Sharing something that brought your family joy and great memories. That little boy is blessed to receive such a special gift. You are all so strong and such a beautiful family 💙💜
Ok, I shed tears again, so sweet seeing the video of River. We tend to want to hang on to material things, and that is what they are, material things. We have our memories which are much more precious to have. God bless your family and you will see River again and that will be a glorious moment .
These videos always bring so much peace and healing for me. Glad to see everyone is doing well. The Smiths always being a wonderful role model with such big hearts.
I feel for you. Giving River’s precious toys away a little at a time. God will lead you and give grace as needed. Thank you once again for sharing your precious family and encouraging us to be our best for God each day.
Maverick on the turf, aaawww! London catching the chickens...I feel for ya. I use to do similar chores on our farm as a kid. But knowing you're helping them, being nice not hurting them helps, even if they don't seem to get it. At least they eventually understand that you're their friend. Awesome on the target practice ! Yee Yee! Shout out to Miguel for the gate, it looks wonderful 👏. That was sweet and was the right thing about the gokart. Understandable about the feelings but yes, it's able to make another kid happy and make new memories. So sweet of you to think that way and give. God put that on your heart and I know it was right. God bless you, in Jesus's Name
Idk y but every time a Riv story comes up I find my heart being struck with joy, fear, grief, and love for your family Granger. We actually named our youngest boy River he’s now going to be 2 in a month
WOW this video was packed with so MUCH...loved seeing Lincoln running...the chickens...will enjoy the coup!! Can't wait to see it...and how the water works...Granger and the pumpkin shoot was pretty Cool...that's an amazing bow!!! And crazy good shots!!! The gates for the garden...look wonderful..but my favorite is the red star on the walk in gate... Miguel and his group did a wonderful job...sharing River's go Cart...is just special...it brought tears and smiles at the same time ...those children will be thrilled...and sharing the love and care for others is what this life is all about....Thank you to all the Smith's...
My mother just passed away in August this year and I think of her everyday all the first holidays an birthdays without her are hurting this year she would always send cards an call quietness is depressing
What a beautiful thing that you have done Granger by giving the go cart to your friends son. It’s sharing Rivers love with someone else… Thank you for sharing that with us. And your brother Parker… Rocks! He did a great job shooting the pumpkins
Live Like Riv! I bet that little boy is SO happy to be driving that Go Kart! I’m not going to lie, I was a little bit sad about it - it was evident how much Riv loved it! I’m LOVING the progress on the garden and outside, everything is looking great!! And how darn cute is Mavy?! Oh my word he’s so so so adorable!! 😍😍 (and Mav’s little toot 😂 hahaha)
Great job cleaning and catching the chickens London and Lincoln! Frog 🐸 Those butterflies were so pretty! Those gates are working and looking great! What a beautiful gift to that family! Not just that it's a go-kart of course, that it was your son's go-kart that he loved to ride and smiled like nothing else when he was riding it! Amazing!
You definitely are raising the children with heart, compassion, and a great work ethic. River is happy too. He gets to watch his go-cart GOOOOOOO again. Such a sweet family. I keep telling people that this is the happiness you can have while serving God. Most people get it, and most people come around. God bless guys and thanks again for sharing. Love ya.
You are doing a wonderful job teaching your children how to share. I am sure the boys who got the go cart are loving it just like Riv did. May God continue to bless your family.
So beautiful you passed on the go cart had me in tears you such a beautiful family honour to be here much love an hugs an God bless always x x x x x x x x x x
What a caring ❤ sweet thing you did by allowing another little boy enjoy Riv's go-cart Granger. The video of Riv & the song choice you played at the end definitely made the tears flow. The gates turned out really cool. I love the one with the star on it especially. Great job London on catching the chickens 🐔 . Have a blessed rest of your week.
It was very emotional the little clip of Riv driving the go-kar.t But he was so happy riding around I am glad another little boy will get to ride around on that go-kart.
So much content in one video. It's wonderful. Good to see Tyler talking more. Yes, to the frog lure give away. Lincoln nice run during your final game. Your garden gate changes are awesome. Tears as I write about River but he would have so much fun riding with those new friends in the go kart. London you're a great helper. Recycling the chicken litter and all the scrape are so good for your soil and garden. We did this on our farm in WI and had such rich soil and grew great vegetables.
The garden looks great!! FROG- Park Park is "pretty country." Great filming, Ty-Ty. What a nice thing to do to keep River's memory alive. You definitely made a little boy very happy. ♥🎈🏎🙏
What a wonderful blessing to Miguel and his guys. It was the perfect thing to do because Miguel has been such a blessing to you with his beautiful work. Congrats Ty-Ty in your new "job" I think you make a wonderful vlogger, just realize that we expect to see more of you now! 😂(oh yeah FROG🐸, my son and little granddaughter would love that lure!!)
Things swelled up inside my heart seeing the video of Riv… you continue to touch all of us with your genuine family lives. Thank you for letting us know you in such a personal way. I enjoy the projects on your property & how everyone contributes…YEE YEE
Not an easy decision to make but the good and charitable in you shone through in the end !!! Looks like you're on the right tracks bringing your children up as they also agreed with the gifting of the go cart, very moving. Thanks for sharing.
Riv is having fun with those other kids riding. I love the video with sneak peaks of Riv, however as a bereaved momma I also know how much it tugs on the heartstrings sometimes. #LivelikeRiv
Never in my life, have I ever met Granger, but to watch this channel I can say he is hands down AWESOME nicest person ✌ Love how he talks about his family and how he is with friends, and how he put God FIRST 💕 I just hope one day I get to meet him and family. May God continue to bless him and his family 💕✌
What What great thing to do with the go cart. Ranger and amber I have been watching rangers sermons and they really get to me. We have a son that is dieing with Huntingtons and we could really use some prayers. Thanks so much for sharing God's word to the world
River was their baby boy, and they lost him accidentally. I lost my boy to an illness that was miss diagnosed, so yeah & Granger Smith doesn't know how much his words help during those moments, but I know he understands and today he helped me let go of some of Aaron's stuff that need life again! Thank you #grangersmith, I used only like the guy who died in The movie Raggamuffin, Rich Mullins, he's a friend of my Pastor's & then I found Granger. But GOD & I are kind of at a struggling point right now, we went to trial & lost for the death of our son, because we couldn't get properly represented legally here in Texas. The cap on Medical Mal Practice Law Suits is so low Lawyers don't want to take the case and when we did find the 1st guy, while Aaron was still alive, he dropped us when he died, then when we found our second guy and he had never done anything like this before and it was a disaster for us in the courtroom! The only way to make Doctor's take responsibility for their mistakes, is unfortunately financially and it makes you look horrible if you don't have proper legal representation to explain that to a jury pool. They had 4 lawyers, 2 experts, 2 paralegals and powers point exhibits, very polished Lawyers and Insurance Company. What did we have, 1 inexperienced Lawyer that tried to put this case together the weekend before trial! Texas is not a place to get justice if your Doctor is negligent and I am going to try and get this Cap Raised so that it is fair for both the patient and the Healthcare provider's! #AaronsBillToRaiseTheCapOnMalPracticeLawSuitsToMakeItFairForBothPatientAndTheHealthCareProvider! #GrangerSmith my son Aaron was a singer, song writer and musician who started all by himself at just 16 yrs old. My boy didn't have to die, all he needed was his gal bladder removed...... Mac 😭💔
Great episode! I had tears watching the clip of Riv but it is a good thing to do. Loved seeing TyTy, ParkPark, and Caleb. You'll get the hang of it Tyler! Hope to see you on here more. Hope to win the lure "Frog". The gate looks amazing, nice touch with the star! Catching the chickens was funny 🤣 can't wait to see the new coop! They will love it. ❤️ 🐓 Yee Yee
London made me tear up with her generosity about Riv's go cart. What a nice gesture for those other kids. The garden looks great! Can't wait to see the new coop!
River's go-kart is now making another little one happy !? A great thing. River would agree I think. Like the new garden gates. So thankful the tornado missed you guys. Have a blessed Tuesday evening and rest of your week Smith family.
Your heart was in the right place with Rivers GoCart. I’m sure Alejandros children are running it just like River would have. It’s got new life. Amen. 💝
AMEN Amber!!! You’re not alone on that, I too got something in my crawl after getting a Word from the Lord about teaching children to celebrate Halloween(aka-All Hollows Eve, aka- Samhain) Pegan traditions which are not becoming of those that are children of the Most High God, but unfortunately I have had a few close friends bring me grief about my conviction about it. 🙄 I’m choosing the high road about it. God and His people ARE priority in the order of things, soooooo. 🙋♂️👍💪🤗
Such a fun and beautiful episode!! London is a good little “chicken wrangler” and Granger holding the chicken off with the camera was hilarious. Lol. Tyler, I would be like you trying to vlog. I know everyone loved it though. :) You and Amber are raising such amazing and considerate kiddos. It is so refreshing to see!! The ending was special with Riv!!! ❤️
What a great video. Had my emotions all over the place, but it was awesome. Granger, I have to say, I watched your sermon at Fresh Life Church this past Sunday. What I great message ! I've shared the replay with several. Amber's Arise spoke right to my heart. Thank you both for your ministries!! God bless you and yours ! Love, hugs and prayers from a Kansas soon to be Great Grandma 👵 🙏❤
That was awesome, very good idea you had 🙏 I lost my grandson coming up on a year this Thanksgiving. It's so hard, my family is starting to feel the pain again getting close to the day. Your videos seem to come when I'm having decisions to make, for that thank you. God bless you and your family!
This was a great video!!! the gate looks really good!!! I love how all the Smith's get involved in the videos. Giving River's go cart away was bittersweet. At least it is being enjoyed like River enjoyed it!!! Now those kids can live like Riv.

River zooming around on his go cart got me. His wild spirit lives on in everything!!
What a kind gesture to give to children that probably would never get a go cart. London is so precious talking about it.
Loving your family. I lost my oldest 19 year old grandson to drowning in 2011. He turned 19 May 11th, went sky diving the next week. June 19th on Fathers Day he drowned. He was my only sons, son. It’s hard to come back from it. It gets easier but things are never the same.

Such a heart wrenching decision but LOVING GESTURE!!!

Frog 🐸. It's so hard to get rid of sentimental itmes. But how great that another family is going to love the go cart so much
Things swelled up inside my heart seeing the video of Riv… you continue to touch all of us with your genuine family lives.
RIP RIVER! Playing in heaven with Jesus… how precious and how fun!🙏🏻❤️
London you have some serious chicken wrangler skills!!! Can’t wait to see the new coop set up.
Granger loving the flow of your new garden area!
Frog! How sweet and kind to be able to share that joy with others!
I love the country lifestyle
Awwwww loved seeing Riv on the go cart ❤️
Just know that you made a little boy extremely happy & that was something River always was! He was a beautiful little boy & his joy was contagious!
What What great thing to do with the go cart. Ranger and amber I have been watching rangers sermons and they really get to me. We have a son that is dieing with Huntingtons and we could really use some prayers. Thanks so much for sharing God's word to the world
Miss River so much.❤
River was their baby boy, and they lost him accidentally.
London last statement stole my heart.... may the next boy feel so.blessed
I love country music
Your heart was in the right place with Rivers GoCart. I’m sure Alejandros children are running it just like River would have. It’s got new life. Amen. 💝
Sharing Rivers LOVE!!!!!
I’m choosing the high road about it. God and His people ARE priority in the order of things, soooooo. 🙋♂️👍💪🤗
Proud of your daughter not backing away from work or from chicken catching!
Such a fun and beautiful episode!! London is a good little “chicken wrangler” and Granger holding the chicken off with the camera was hilarious. Lol. Tyler, I would be like you trying to vlog. I know everyone loved it though. :)
You and Amber are raising such amazing and considerate kiddos.
Prayers for your family on the loss of your grandson. May God bring you comfort as only He can.
Londons so good with animals, cant wait to see her become a Vet. YEE YEE from Australia
This was a great video!!! the gate looks really good!!! I love how all the Smith's get involved in the videos. Giving River's go cart away was bittersweet. At least it is being enjoyed like River enjoyed it!!! Now those kids can live like Riv.
Your garden is so nice and the new gates are fantastic. Giving River's go-cart away had to be hard but it is now making another little one so happy.
Riv thinks so too!! He's smiling watch other littles enjoy the fun!
A very thoughtful thing you did Granger. Your whole garden area is beautiful 🌵🌺🏵️🌼🌿🌻🌱. God bless Smith family and "The Smith's"family!
