Candied Orange Peel is very easy recipe to make sweet and bright orange peel & is perfect for holidays. Sugar coated orange peels tastes as wonderful as they look. The pieces are soft and perky with just right touch of chewiness and light sugary crunch. It needs only basic ingredients that you can find in your kitchen. And it is homemade. Enjoy the Video!
INGREDIENTS
1. Oranges - 3
2. Baking Soda
3. Water
4. Sugar - 1 cup
5. Cinnamon
6. Lemon - 1/2
7. Ice cubes
8. Sparkling Water
Steps to prepare
1. Clean the oranges with baking soda. Rub it formly.
2. Rinse and drain the oranges with water.
3. Cut the bottom and top of the orange & small cuts around the skin evenly.
4. Peel the oranges.
5. Cut the skin into wide strips.
6. Boil the orange peel until it leaves bitterness and drain the water.
7. Take 1:1 of sugar and water.
8. Add cinnamon lemon and 1 full orange juice.
9. Boil for 45-50 minutes until the orange strips become translucent.
10. Place in a parchment paper to dry the orange for 5-8 hours or overnight.
11. Finally, coat the gummies with the sugar.
12. Enjoy tasty and chewy gummies. BON APPETITE!!
