Michelle // Daughter Of The Woods Ikr, white people coming right out and saying that they love their culture and that we should preserve it. What is this world coming to!
Arianrhod 14 I really don't understand why we can't just live in peace and cherish every single culture and tradition without harming anyone and without being racistic. Black people can be proud of their culture as much as white people, we should all tolerate each other and our heritage! And Lucia is about giving light in times of darkness! Why can't we just share love instead of hatred?
Michelle // Daughter Of The Woods I agree completely. However, white people can't have pride in being white without being hated on and called racist/neo nazi/kkk/ect. Just look at what the West has become. I believe that all cultures and all races/ethnicities have a right to pride and a place in this world. But less and less people believe that white people have those rights. Btw, I say white people because it covers Europeans and the European diaspora.

When I was a child, my primary school had a teacher with Danish and Swedish roots. Rikhard was his name, but we just called him Riku. So of course he made sure Lucia's day was celebrated with a proper little parade. Here in Finland most primary schools do the Lucia's parade, at least the schools in my area, but his parade was always very much more beautiful. They'd sing the song in Finnish, but when Rikhard's class became the oldest in the school, they sang one verse in Swedish. This video brang me back to the days when I watched in awe and in a bit of jealousy as the girl playing Lucia led the parade around the school hall, nervous as she was the only one holding a real candle.

Hello Jonna, when your video showed up in my feed, I knew I had to watch it again. This is my most favorite video on all of RUclips. It is 1:15 am Alaska time Thurs. 12/15/2022
Dear Jonna, thank you so much for this beautiful (beyond words can explain) song and video and demonstration of love, wonder, and oooh so much more that there's for us to discover of our beautiful world, creation, the immense vastness of the skies, humanity, and everything that's there for us to see if we had our hearts, souls, and spirits open! Thank you so much. Today is my daughter's birthday! She's really an example of St. Lucia because she brings light wherever she is, for everyone she knows and everyone she doesn't know....it's as if God put her on this planet to light up other people's life...even though she's so young (early thirties), she has gone through so much pain and suffering and pains of the heart and soul, and still yet longing to find the one that's destined to be her husband, father of her future children, and love of her life. She brings so much happiness to others, and still she waits for God's blessings with a family of her own. Today, I entered RUclips looking for something special to send to her via text, something about Santa Lucia....and God brought me to your beautiful and meaningful videos....and I am just in so much peace, and filled with something special which is very hard to put into any language known to me or to humanity...it's just felt in the deepest being of our essence. God knows and those who feel the same way also know what I cannot express with words. Thank you so much. I have subscribed to your RUclips and I will take time to see your other presentations and gifts to us all. I wish you a very beautiful and Merry Christmas and a year 2021 filled with peace, health, tranquility, and most of all LOVE eternally! from your new friend in Brooklyn, New York, USA, Sarita Polanco.

I never get tired of these St. Lucia videos! I love watching them first thing in the morning while it is still dark on the 13th. I feel it is such a magical way to mark the beginning of the Solstice time! Thank you for this!
Amazing as everything you do.⚘
This should be shown on swedish television and as you have, with the real text to the song no chanches of words🙏
Thank you Jonna ❄🌨☃️

You bring the magic back in our Heart
you must be a fairy, no human can be that aesthetic...
I found your channel a few hours ago. Everything here is absolutely perfect, speechless, amazing, beutiful... Please,
not to cry
not to cry
not to...
Yes, I'm crying :]
I had to be at work in two hours. Yeeeah, I think it's kinda problematic now...

🌟👸🧝♀️🔥💕
& Bless & thank 🙏you dearest Joanna😘❤️❤️❤️🥰
Such a beautiful video! Reminds me of doing this at school and wishing the teacher picked you to be St. Lucia. Thank you for sharing this Scandinavian tradition, Jonna! 💕🕯🌙✨
This is beautiful!
My great-grandparents came to the United States from Sweden, but, unfortunately, didn’t pass along any Swedish traditions (other than the Angel Chimes, which we enjoy every Christmas).
I am wanting my children to learn more about their Swedish heritage, and your beautiful videos will help. Thank you!
Lucia celebration is not truly scandinavian and is not real white culture. Is a christian abrahamistic celebration.

I think Jonna Jinton has a great attitude and best character. "Appreciation and satisfaction" is what I like her most. She adopt herself in every transition in her life in all aspects. The season, the food, animals, people around, task, work, job...Seeing the beauty around is a unique ability!

My grandmother was from Sweden and our family here in the U.S. still carries on many holiday traditions. I still remember, as the eldest daughter performing Santa Lucia for my family and grandmother. I still feel so proud of my heritage and I love teaching my young son about his heritage. It’s really wonderful to have found your channel. It seems like a dream come true to live like this. I commend you on your bravery and being able to live with nature instead of fighting nature to live. I hope to one day travel to 🇸🇪
I have literally never felt more at home when I listen to your music! I don’t know if that makes sense, but your voice takes me to places I could never remember on my own.
The very Essence of the Season....Thank you.

Hello Jonna, when your video showed up in my feed, I knew I had to watch it again. This is my most favorite video on all of RUclips. It is 1:15 am Alaska time Thurs. 12/15/2022
This video is so beautiful and I feeled I'm in movie.
You are amazing. So beautiful.
She lives In her own magical reality.. away from.the real world ....just wow ❤️
It has been a long time since the last video. Beautiful work JJ.
