Not just her, others are better at Aida than superstar Netrebko who doesn't belong in these heavy roles and yet many people still go watch her "puke her guts" in these roles instead of her earlier work in lighter rep.
That was a long and arduous trek to the high C. But she got there, I suppose, and the tepid applause reveals that in some corners of the world, an audience still recognizes a weak performance when it hears one. This isn't the Met, after all LOL.
Her constant movements are distracting and so is her flapping jaw. Sounds better if not watching her. Unfortunately this is better than many nowadays which is saddening.
