I finally found someone with dry skin! It seems like every YT'er I follow has oily skin! I not only have normal to dry skin I am 48 years old. I have hardest time finding a liquid foundation that I like that doesn't make my wrinkles look worse. :) I too would love to hear what your favorite drugstore foundation picks would be!

Loved this video. A couple of weeks ago I was running low on my fave NARS Sheer Glow and thought shld I try the radiant. But spontaneously I tried the Hourglass Vanish. And I'm so glad I did! Everything you said : D As a new mum, between hot and cold weather I wanted something quick and big plus points are that it's so long wearing, natural, quick and I can make it as dewy or radiant as I want. I would love to see how you apply the Vanish foundation and a tutorial on this gorgeous look!
I like this series! Maybe next time you can show us actual applications to your face? It helps for me to see the finishes of products before and after it dries down and how it sits on top of pores
Aw I'm sorry! My skin is so sensitive from my eczema, removing and re-applying that many times would have really irritated my skin :( I apologize!

Oh yeah totally understand - shopping for a new foundation is a dark, dark hole. Too many options, product overload!! Hope you try out one of these and fall in love! If you do, please let me know! I'd love to hear which one you tried out, xo
@@DaceyCash Heyyyy girl!!! Sorry I ghosted on you but I was literally trying out foundations for 3 weeks. I definitely ended up trying the Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation since I have dry skin and I know this is going to be a go-to of mine for the upcoming winter months :) Just like you said, my favorite thing about it was how longwearing it is and how it didn't crease around any lines!! I would say the only thing was that I wish it gave me a little more coverage but other than that I fell in love with this one thanks to you!!

I used my T3 Twirl iron, but on this day specifically, I had slept in the curls. So they were a little bit more loose and not as defined as they usually are!

NARS Sheer Glow has seriously has changed me lol. I compared almost everything to Sheer Glow becuase it's just so ideal for me!
Hey babe! Love this series! I really value your opinion so I would love for you to do more of these. I have really dry skin too and always seem to have foundation settle into my smile lines around my mouth during the day, and I’m only 24, i feel like that shouldnt happen because I don’t have wrinkles. You said that the bobbi brown one doesn’t settle, what about the nars ones? Have you found that they settle in line throughout the day or they go ok? Also, do you always set your foundation with powder?

I have the smile line problem occasionally as well, and the BIGGEST tip I can give is to wear as little as makeup as you possibly can around your mouth. Even if you set the foundation with powder, it is inevitable that the makeup will crease in areas on the face where you make dynamic expressions and movements. Honestly the Bobbi foundation is amazing - but it's not going to be 100% creaseless, you know? If you are constantly moving the product around it's going to migrate.
I'd say try going lighter coverage around the mouth and setting with powder and a longwear setting spray! Better to touch up a little bit throughout the day than wear more than you need and have it crease!

Gonna have to give Nars another try! I tried it earlier this year and broke out but I was also testing out a few skin care items at the same time too and I got frustrated and returned it, oops lol! I have dry skin too, what primer do you wear when you use the nars sheer glow and what setting spray do you use w it? I have the too faced hangover primer. Also are you going to be reviewing the Fenty Beauty Diamond Ball Highlighter and milk gloss?! 💜
Honestly, on a day to day I don't wear primer! I usually just wear an illuminator as my base! Something like MAC strobe - I just like a shiny base haha. If I want Sheer Glow to last longer, something like J.One Jelly or anything tacky-ish! Sticky based primers work the best for longevity with my skin type!
Too Faced Hangover is great for an everyday primer with Sheer Glow, it'll give the foundation a nice hydrated base.
I acutally haven't even seen the new Fenty products in person yet but now they are on my radar after reading your comment! ;) xo
dhandreena I tried both NARS foundation so perfect but literally broke out too while I was wearing it in tiny little bumps!!! Didn't go away till 3 days later :((((

This was such a great video. I’m a true ride or die Nars girl so it was really nice to hear your thoughts on their foundations. I was surprised not to see Armani Luminous Silk but it’s not everyone’s favourites and to be honest I don’t find it holds up as well as Nars.
How sad is it that I've stilllllll never tried the Armani Luminous Silk foundation.. lol. I feel like it's been on my list for ACTUAL LITERAL years but I never get around to purchasing it because something else always catches my eye first! Haha

I apply all my foundations with either a beauty blender, my fingers or the itcosmetics foundation brush! I don't really switch up applications that much :)

Depends on the day! I really didn't hit primers just because I think it's soooo important to treat the skin with a primer that is suited toward your skin type, and skin concerns on the specific day! xo
