Your new house & barn look lovely & have much potential. One does get a lot of strange looks when you go to any store & are covered with multiple colors of long hairs when your a single guy! People don`t realize the long hairs are from my various colors of Thoroughbreds & my 3 cats! The non- climb fencing you have will be a great injury saver from horses being fractious with each other. If put up well as I have done, I have had horses run into it at considerable speed in our 1/2 mile field & bounce off it like a tennis ball on a net & not have any harm to them except a surprised look to their eyes. Your house looks like it has lots of nice woodwork inside. The fireplace will be enjoyable on a cold winters evening in the future.
I feel you on this one. I hate to move! But congratulations on finding a place! I'm hoping that the Clever Cowgirl finds her perfect place as well! I guess your experience should give us all hope. You EVENTUALLY find a good spot. As someone just reminded me, 'You've got to play to win'. :)
I get the stress of moving and unpacking. Me and my parents moved last autumn, and this is just temporary. My dad and mom are renovating an old house they bought that we couldn't move into yet. It's a wreck. I'm fearing the day I have to pack my things up again and move 🥲
I am moving! I feel you. Also i definitely stopped caring about what others thought for me in my late 20' and now i'm 39, and the thought that other people would even care feels more weird to me now. I also scratch my horses with the pooper scooper lol. I feel pride when i walk around in my dirty horse clothes...like yeah i get to hang out with horses...i know.. its amazing. Im so happy for you cant wait for more!
lol, you went riding in sweats. That was the first thing I did one Christmas when I got a matching set. It just seemed appropriate for whatever reason! I also had a friend that sometimes rode in lose shorts, but she would wear full chaps with them, so it her it made her fashion choices negligible. But we always wore appropriate footwear and, past a certain age, helmets. We didn't grow up being required helmets, but we made it an adult policy for ourselves. And of course, it's always fun to show off dirt and grit to the world post horse work. If I happen to be in half chaps, sometimes I even got compliments. Edit: 7:45 Oh no, lol! A had a gray Arabian who ALWAYS have the worst knots in his mane.
Congratulations on your move..will look forward to your vid’s from your new digs.. just a quick question…whatever happened with the adorable pony mare that you were working with???
I saw a whole thread of people complaining about those of us who do it a while ago 😂 but to be fair it was mostly the more “high class” type of horse person who’s more far removed from the care of horses and less likely to get dirty
It is never easy to move to a new place and un pack . Actually that is the best time to de clutter stuff you don't need any more and give it to the thrift store . Wow that looks like a huge arena . Enjoy your new place ,it looks so much bigger than the old place . Hey you are not the only one that goes shopping in tacky stained pants and clothes .
I love the new place! Where is the other mustang? I’m blanking on his name. No excuse bud still half asleep. I also love the new attitude! I can’t tell you how many looks I’ve gotten while grocery shopping after barn work. I’d like to say it is because I’m an old fart but the truth is- I really don’t care. Glad you’ve adapted this motto!
I was just wondering the other day how you was going. I missed seeing your videos on youtube. I stopped caring what people think of me a long time ago, if they don't like it, they don't have to look at me. Although it's easier said than done, there are clothes I will don't wear because I don't feel like I could 'get away with it' (being a large girl) and wish I had the confidence to wear whatever I like and not care if people stare
The only thing I'm careful with going shopping in dirty clothes is that I washed my hands in before and first take a good look on the fresh vegetables before putting them in my hand. I don't care what people thing - it is not worth my time to look presentable when going shopping.

She’s here, I just didn’t get clips of her directly in this video. Her name is Mesa
I think I missed stuff. Do you own this property? Well, does your bank own this property? If so, wowser! It looks beautiful!
No, I’m renting, a client of mine owns it. Haha I wish I owned but the day that (hopefully) happens will be a much bigger day

Did I miss something you don’t have mesa anymore?
No, she’s still here
Shelby, can I please be your assistant?
