Tiger Lilly there is no falsities in what she said if you have just understand the context of why she said that.
Apostle Paul said imitate “ME” as he also imitates Christ. ME indicates the very character of who he is passed on to Him by Jesus Christ. She said that statement fully knowing that. So, if there is a leader, character is what they pass along, not just teaching. Just as Paul said, imitate him, not imitate his teaching.
Stop persecuting the body of Christ
Start asking for wisdom to understand His divine revelation.

Only person that has active and chased by dreams and achieve them gets to say “don’t pursue dreams, pursue Christ”. We are not supposed to follow big worldly dreams but that’s what the whole Pentecostal church has been about - so funny she gets to flip it on its head after she’s done the same thing her whole life. She literally spent 2 years on a tour promoting this book: “Houston is strongest when speaking about his own experiences-he knew he wanted to minister from an early age and worked 11 jobs during high school to pay for Bible college-and using them to illustrate how great things come to those who have patience, faith, and big dreams”
" Everytime, you're given a compliment, dont deflect it with false humility; take it like a little flower and collect it in a pocket and at the end of the day with that bouquet, get on your knees and give that bouquet To GOD" . - What to do with Praise. - Rhetorically, My Loving Brooke is so deep and is passionate about what she wants to emphasize; maybe true to her personal experiences and readings. SHE loves GOD and I love God more for having this all one pack kind of individual with a heart that burns for God and she is so witty and a brilliant conversationalist! This made me cry a bit.Woaaaah.
Another points to take note:
"God's not less holy today than He was then, His presence is no less sacred than He was then."
"As worshippers/worship leaders, we should understand that we are entering the presence of a Holy God through the blood of Jesus; And through that access; We should give that GLORY to God, never to take it, never never to hold it;" Amen to that.

there may have been 'worship leaders' in the Old Testament, but NOT in the New Testament. The Holy Ghost IS the worship leader-not any human. the way to worship God is only congregational singing, with our instruments being to as scripture says, 'to pluck the strings of our hearts'. No musical instruments. No solo singing. No choirs. God is the audience, none else. People today don't know how to do anything biblical, God's way, any more than they know how to wipe their own asses.

DaniiiAkasha but it is true. Jesus gave us our dreams, but not to follow it. Him alone and in following Him leads us to that dream. She said that because a lot of people does it other way around. We follow our dreams thinking it would lead us to Jesus. That is not how it works.
Which is what the reformed Evangelicals have been saying all along but in the meantime… Brook has been chasing fame and success and been given it from the age of 18 so I think it’s a little bit lame for her so pretend now that it’s not something she’s ever wanted

This is where Brook’s been ! Man she’s one of my favourite Kiwi singers and wow I had no idea she’s been doing this... I’m totally amazed and so proud of her. She’s incredible. So much love for this lady. Gods amazing.. continues to bless us with people like Brook. Thank you Jesus, thank you for all that you do for us. We’re so honoured, so blessed and so lucky to have an amazing Father that loves us endlessly and eternally. We love You, we glorify you Lord.

This talk has literally changed my life and walk with Christ. So thankful for Brooke and her personal stewardship in her relationship with the Lord because He is using her obedience to speak into my life and the lives of others.
I mean it’s pretty easy to obey when your father was the most famous athletes in the country, at 18 you got signed to a record deal and became an overnight celebrity and then got ushered into the inner sanctum of the biggest church in the world and had instant waves of adoration... It’s very easy to be nice to people who are nice to you

Brooke said "What ever you feed yourself with is what is going to come out". She obviously was referring to secular songs, because yes if you actually listen to the lyrics of secular songs they are very much like poo and it's not always the best to put those lyrics into your life. I don't know how so many people misinterpreted that. Maybe because of a cultural block? I actually sat through the ENTIRE video and it was a great video.
It's crazy how many people have misinterpreted the one comment about songs. If you listen carefully her answer to the pastor's question "Song writing. Where does the initial idea come from typically for you?" And Brooke Answers "Scripture" and she goes on how to explain how she reads multiple translations of the bible. Even though she initially answers with a comparison about (secular) songs being like poop. She explained "What ever you feed yourself is what is going to come out". And obviously she is referring how worship songs are like the healthy food you put in your body.
I don't want people reading through the comments and judging and assuming this is a bad video or that Brooke is comparing her worship songs to Poo. IT'S NOT TRUE. I'm curious to know if all those people who commented actually sat through the whole 34 minutes. I did and it was a great video with lots of truth.

love this!! it's so good! i'm so thankful of how God works in and through people and creates such beauty. i always thought brooke was such a beauty on the outside but it brings me to tears to experience such beauty inwardly through what God shared through her, her story. it brings me to tears that God creates each of us so beautifully and after that, makes us even more beautiful. wow God. such people of influence that we all get to learn from and become more beautiful by just His reflection on all of us...thank you for sharing this message.

Enjoyed Brooke's interview very much. I thought she did exceptionally well to deal with the insightful, "meaning" questions posed. Her faith is her life and calling. God bless.
Much ado about the "poo" thing. My take on it was that she was being honest in answering the questions posed. A little awkwardly perhaps but we're not perfect. As she said later on, we all worship (and look at things) through our particular social lens (and social norms). Her's reflected her New Zealand origins - no airs or graces. Humility.

Some of these people here need to work on their listening & comprehension skills. She said songs are like poo, not worship songs, not worship music, not composing Christian music, but she said SONGS. What she says after that is what matters because that's the interpretation/meaning of the metaphor so you should've dwelt on that, but rather you choose to focus on poo. What's in the song is telling of what you've been feeding yourself with. Brooke is profound and deep, she definitely doesn't mean anything near God's music is poo. Please. She's beyond that. Look at how she's written the songs, it's a result of her relationship with God & knowledge of the Word. Don't be shallow guys. I feel that some people here already came here harbouring bitterness and ready to pass judgment towards Hillsong or Brooke. Well i guess if you're looking for offenses, you will find it.

I do that all the time!! When I’m baking my cakes or stirring a pot to cook or what fruit is good in the market, I ask the holy spirit, I thought it was silly but now I know it’s a way of communicating with our extraordinary friend
