Hi Gina and Tom. My best friend lives in Wisconsin and we went to a supper club called Ishnalla andI had my first Old Fashioned Press. Yum! It was delicious. Love your card.
Hi! I’m so glad to see those big ornaments getting a video. 😊 I love them! I watercolored and cut out ornaments for tags as gifts. I’m also so very happy to get some Applemint. Yay! I was on the notification list and ordered right away. On a side note, I bet the hair washing comment was about how to get inky fingers clean. I don’t know why, but it works. Love your videos, Gina, and Tom’s shenanigans. ❤
This has been a fun video! I love the card and all of beautiful ornaments! The creative way Tom thinks of words is always funny. Enjoyed every minute!! I’m from Texas living in Florida so my accent is always commented on, not always in a good way!
In Australia we call drinking fountains bubblers. We lack a good name for the opposite corner. In one part a swimsuit is a cozzie (costume), and another they're bathers. We have regional accents, but I agree, the differences in the States are like different countries.
I tried GK inks for the first time last week (bought 3 pass). OMG - they are the BEST!!! ❤ I’m now on a mission to build my inventory. Do your inks ever go on sale, or do you have bundled discounts?
Watching the replay. I have a question, Gina. Do you ever ink the edges of your die cuts to help add dimension? I was wishing you had done it on the ornaments.
Yes, I have done that and you can definitely do that! It creates a more rustic look and looks beautiful! For a more graphic look, like my card, the technique in the video works really well too.
@@GinaKDesigns-StampTV Either way, the card turned out to be amazing. I loved the techniques and the stamps you used to make the textured look. And, hooray, I have two of the three of those stamps!
Hot Toddy, is a drink my dad made for me to help sweat a bit infection or cold. It makes you sweat. It’s heated up with honey lemon and bourbon I think. So you don’t wanna drink too many of those. Unless there’s another recipe for this drink.
My devoutly-LDS grandpa's momma used to give him hot toddies when he was sick, and, he told me (I was well acquainted, at age 13, w booze, stolen from my dad's liquor cabinet). Anyway, grandpa told me, with a twinkle, how much he liked those hot toddies Ma Brian used to give him, as a kid. I smiled hugely at him.
If you have been somewhere sketchy, put 91% isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle and spray your shoes and the soles. Kills bed bug eggs that may have gotten on your shoes. Advice from a social worker that went sketchy places😅😅😅😅😅 i keep a spray bottle in my car! I have also sprayed my pants!😅😅😅😅😅 life skills.
Thanks!!! Btw, bed bugs have nothing to do with soil or lack of cleanliness. Bed bugs are here, on earth, and they generate, of course, like we do. When someone buys a wood bed that has bed bugs in it (not the mattress! The wood!) then the bugs get to go find "new blood", as it were. I don't know if bed bugs have been around since we were first plopped onto this planet (we came from another place ... We are space aliens!!).
I absolutely love the ideas you have been showing us!!! So inventive and inspiring!!!!!

You two make my heart glow!!😊

One last thought…the round ornament will make a great vase.
Love the card thank you for all the great ideas 😊
Love this technique!

You can make a horseshoe table by putting tables together in that shape. Even just having another table next to you helps a lot.
I fell asleep so I had to pick up where I left off. You made a beautiful card! 😊
So beautiful!!!
Beautiful card ❤️
A hot toddy is scotch whisky and hot lemon with honey, best used if you catch a cold, helps you sleep at night.
I love it...
GREEN!
That’s a good one Tom ovr there!!!!
Lax cent lol 😂 Tom your a Hoot😂 cute card Gina 💐
I’m watching the re-play.
That is a great tip with the tape and embossing powder!
water fountains in new england are called bubblah's also
"I'm going to get the misti involved ..." LOL🎉😂
Iwonder Gina, have you ever considered using a dark to medium cool grey as a drop shadow on these pastel ornaments? It wouldn't be so harsh.
Gina, that’s why Cathy Zelskie says “jewels not tools”!!
Watched the replay. I didn't know you could use double sided tape and embossing powder. Great tip. Love the card.
Just remember, it has to be a tape that will take the heat. Regular double sided tape won't work. 😊

The toppers would look good embossed on black cardstock.
just made it
I lived in Philadelphia as a young girl, because my Dad played for the Eagles.

It's good like that
Question is that water marknink like versamark or staton ink?
1:02:40 instead of two pieces of black behind these pieces, have you tried rolling the edge in a black ink pad?

Can you mix distress inks with other inks.
Yes, you can although the properties are a bit different.
All you had to do is cut the black piece down the center, you did not need 2 pieces of black! I think that would work.
Yes, that would work too!
By George, you're right! 😊
Just a suggestion…you could have inked the edges. That would have given the separation.
