@@shephherd central Europe so I use hide glue - I have got sturgeon bladders as well - using that as a bit of addition glueing is definitely the part you'd like to experiment first and understand the most - other stuff is simple in comparison to whole gluing process for example even type/shape of grooves is important when sizing - pointy groves with very small space at the bottom of the groove are tough to be filled in without air bubbles
