2X. Good for you. You have traveled. Have you ever traveled to see the Navy Seals in action? You will be astonished and amazed at what these remarkable folks do. They are ordinary guys, kind and considerate, and yet mentally and physically tough. They are the finest mankind has to offer. They are most of all Americans.
kit. I know. They probably don't kill all 30,000 at once. Just 4 or 500 hundred at a time. The guys eat through about 15000 calories a day and they need it to maintain fighting weight. Phelps needed 12000 calories and he was only swimming. The guys have to fight, run, parachute jump, swim and fill in army forms. That takes a lot of brains and fitness.
@Cartmanland98 My father's cousin was in the airborne. I met him, and he always said humility was the most important trait of a good solider.Like many good US airmen, he didn't read books - he wrote them. You do need a high IQ of course.I have met guys that have served. They say the real heroes have the same attributes - they are always kind, they are always loyal, and they are always humble. I was in the forces and knew men who were always sweet people, no matter what.
XIPM3. Yes. It is true. Some Chinese are humble. However, in the US military, soldiers are taught to be humble, to only think of others. It comes naturally. It is the American way.
what happens if theres two bad guys with automatic weapons that wipe out your " highly elite" team as you do your routine room clear? they act as if shit will go to plan. makes more sense to me to have a versatile staggard stack that covers multiple points of the room for safety before you enter. one second wait time before you enter so you can clear targets if need be. for safety reasons. seems more logical to me. instead of barging in. you never know if youre expected and outgunned....
@eldogg4life Yes. Pretty much. That is what sets the American apart from the rest - his concern for others. What a great guy the American is. Have a look also at LA SWAT, the finest fighting force on the planet.
dude, all this shit and much more is readily available in manuals online. only organized militaries use cqb tactics, neither afghans nor iraqis have any use for this information
Tough guys. To get into Navy Seals, you have to be tougher than Arnold Schwarzenegger, better than Bruce Lee, smarer than Shoron Stone and be fitter than Michael Phelp. These guys are supermen, and can take on whole divisions.
everyday. These are not proper SEALs training exercises. Their methods are so secret that they are classified "Top Secret". Each SEAL is rigorously tested for key qualities, a very high IQ, massive strength, good looks ( for photo shoots), truthfulness, team work and most of all, humility - the quality the sets Americans apart from the rest.
CQB has evolved a lot from lessons learned in Iraq and Afghanistan. It’s interesting to see how it used to be done

XIP. The quality I was talking about is humility. The other qualities some non-Americans have.
