The ingenuity of the parasol DIY is amazing! 👍 I made a table for my living room by painting a plant stand that I had used on my balcony and placing a tray on top. I love it.
Hi Mr Carrington, your diys are amazing I love how simple you make things look, you are a real inspiration to me, as a mom of seven, there's not a lot of money spare so to know you can make things from as little as a pound but looks more expensive to make your home look stunning is genius because of you I'm making my own cushions I've started growing potatoes, herbs strawberries ect, I'm up cycling your such a down to earth gentleman always considerate and think of others, I wish you every success in life your really do deserve it thank you for being you, I hope your well, and to everyone one on this community, stay safe love sam from brum xxx
@@MrCarrington Mr Carrington you are very welcome so happy I made your day cause you make everyone's day everytime you put up a vid, and I am all about positivity especially in the new climate of which we live and being nice doesn't cost any think you are a true gentleman xx love Sam xx
I seriously loved them all. You are very creative. The pillow did seem a bit labor intensive , but in down time would be fun to make. Thank you for a great video.
The umbrella would be cute to make for kids outdoor play like over sandbox. I am def putting tassels on my umbrella. I have done the pillow but put the pillow inside the w pieces and tied the fringes together to make a fringe effect
Great video, as always. Thanks for keeping me company during my lockdown Sunday breakfast 😊. I love the little string of lights and lantern with the parasol, will be very cozy for when the sun starts going down. The exasperation in the out-take made me chuckle 🤭. Have a lovely day off tomorrow!!
My favourite has to be the side table, so simple and looks really effective. Hope your thumb is healing well, always more of a problem when the injury is on the joint. I'm now making a detachable sail shade for our balcony, as our dog loves to lay on our bench in the sun but gets too hot. White double layer shower curtain and three hooks. All things you either have in your home or can buy from poundland. This can be made to any size just by adding an extra hook per 3f.
@@julianuttall5825 No , not that I know of. But you take a shower curtain and fold it to make an elongated triangle. Then cut off the excess material. Cut and double the off cut into four or more strips about two inches wide and four inches long, fold them and stitch down each of the sides individually, then turn inside out. Remember each 3ft will need another of these as it will attach to the hooks. Stitch the strips at 3ft apart sandwiched in between the folded curtain on the short end leaving one to be stitched in at the far point of the thinnest end of the triangle. All the strips should be made in a lope shape while stitching. Then place your hooks into wall, fence or something sturdy at 3ft apart leaving the single hook for the far poit of the sail for last (this way you will have a better fit for the sail as you will be able to pull it into position to know where to locate the last hook) and hook your new shade sail into place. It's shower proof durable but I would recommend to take down in high winds and winter. Great for machines Wasing and then just hook up to dry.
I love the umbrella but instead of buying one I’m going to wait till my sun umbrella breaks then I can repurpose it and still use in the garden thanks for sharing hope your thumb feels better now x
I can’t remember if I told you this but I love the results so much. I had a wall I needed to disguise so I got one of those stretchy faux ivory covered trellises from Home Bargains for about £20, just put it up with some strategically placed hooks so I can take it down in winter. I then put 3 x 2 doubled up bamboo canes, spaced equally so they look like thin tree trunks leading down into flower pots below and step back and it looks like you have some of those expensive clipped square trees growing close together - it really does look effective !
I liked the parasol and cushion case. Your little garden is looking great now. I bet it's a sun trap in the hot weather. Thanks for sharing your diys. Stay safe xxx
WoW your really a clever homemaker , very good, you certainly don't need a woman to build your home. I loved your little table and homemade cushion. No sewing needed. Great value from poundland, especially on a tight budget. Keep.up the excellent workmanship!!😍🌴🌳🌷🌼🌞⛱🔨🔧🛠✂️
Yes, all terrific as usual. The easy side table and the cushion is great. I've made many cushions, but never a no sew one. The parasol I might actually make, as I do have some old ones umbrellas around and a knackered pub umbrella as well? look after the cut lad!
Wow! I love all of them. Although I don't think I would have any patience with the pillow. I really enjoyed the parasol. It looks gorgeous in your garden.
Thank you for the warning about your knuckle. I have vasovagal syncope and would have passed out for sure! 🥴 I love the finished projects and your roof garden is looking incredible! Cheers.
Hi Ewan. Hello from Telford. Great video! I noticed your ikea step stool. I've had mine for 15+ years and it was looking very sorry for itself so yesterday I painted it pink with a tropical theme. Why don't you do something imaginative with your? 😁 Emma xxx
Your DIY skills and imagination are sooo good Mr c. 👍👍👍👍 Love the parasol except for your sore thumb. 🏖️ Fabulous diys. Well done Mr c 😊💙. Keep well 👍🏖️🌈
Hi Mr. C ,once again you have created three wonderful decor pieces which create a extra special atmosphere to your roof garden. I adore all three. You are so innovative and come up the best ideas incorporating useful items to enhance the outdoor experience.Would lights go onto the parasol do you think? Adore those tassels around the parasol, useful idea to have a quick and easy table to fold whenever possible.Pillow looks so neat plus non sew perfect.Your roof garden is wonderful. My compliments to you.Have a great time when the sun shines outdoors as you deserve to have lovely breaks out there. Do you play your music too. Thank you so very much.Take care.
Hi Mr C! I always love your DIYs, what you come with to decorate your lovely home and rooftop garden which I’m so envious that you have to enjoy the outdoors when the weather is bright and ☀️The umbrella stand was genius can I make a suggestion? If you have some sand or some decorative rocks you can add to the inside bottom of the stand to give it some weight and when it’s a windy day it will prevent it from toppling over onto your head or into the plants. Hope this helps and sorry about your thumb the risks of being a diyer! Stay well and safe! Greetings from Barbara in Minnesota
Love the outtakes! Hi There I am new to your channel today and like your ideas so I am subscribing. Love your roof garden it looks like a really nice space to relax in. I am lucky to have a front and back garden and at present trying to do a make over out the front on very limited funds so will be watching your ideas with interest. Thanks for the great ideas I shall continue watching each week.
Parasol great idea! Table I would spray perhaps a pale pink matching subtly with the gold... Cushion time consuming but effective... Thank you for your efforts. Much appreciated :)
The pillow! I'm a little bummed since I think I recently got rid of some $1 fleece baby blankets that might have been perfect. The table was very clever if I can find those items in the right size. The umbrella was entertaining to watch but a bit too advance for me 🤣
Love the little table. I was thinking the little light that you sprayed with copper coloured paint would be so pretty in a string of 6 or 9 with some solar lights in them. I love how the copper looked on them. So pretty! Hope your hand feels better! Thanks again for a lovely video! 😊♥️
Just found your channel and love the videos you do. I may have just watched 10 in one go! I am off to buy some fleece throws for some cushion making😊xx
Your roof garden just gets more beautiful every video. What a lovely place to be.
My favourite is the table,a good idea
"plaster" aka band-aid never gets old! I always chuckle when I hear plasta
Nice colours of flowers
Loved all there.but the umbrella ser my favourite maybe it is because it is a little different from what you usually see. 👍
Love the parasol!
The table is ingenious

Oh I love the no sew pillow.
Yay thank you
Very creative, love all the things you made👍
Thank you Linda 😀
3 good diys. When i do the cushions, instead of making the holes and weaving the cut bits, I knot each pair together to make a nice fringed edge.
Love that idea
Boy, we almost lost you there with that umbrella! Scary times! ❤️💚❤️
The umbrella & the side table diys were
Cool...
Love the music...Will be making the umbrella and the little table..Just love your stuff.. Toronto Canada
