I don't know how much info is out there on Waylorn Vyversbane, but I think it would be cool to have a video on him, especially because there's the ending in which Waylorn is actually Huma.
Dude, this video was so epic and brought up tremendous nostalgia. Another great example of why I'll support you and this channel with my last dollar. Oh and Serinda was hot! 😂
I am currently running the War of the Lance campaign, and my group are about to start DL10 Dragons of Dreams. However, I allowed my group to create their own characters, and they have made the campaign their own.
@@DLSaga AD& D 2nd Ed. We considered converting to 5th, however, felt that characters did not feel the same. That said, I have conceded one change - ascending AC, which is very easy to adopt. Actually, the designers of 2E had planned on using ascending AC in 2E, but felt that there would be a backlash by fans.
I remember these modules well. Somehow my group made a hash of the actual plots. Caramon married Alhana. Tika married Raistlin. Tanis married Serinda. Derek became a legendary hero and became king of Solmnia. Waylorn was insane and died thinking he was Huma. Elistan had a hand chopped off and lost his faith in the gods of light and disguised himself as Verminard. Riverwind and Goldmoon didn't get out of the first module. Eben killed Gilthanas which in turn led Laurana to kill him. Good times.
@@bwg4608 Laurana ended up as something of a darker character since she killed Eben and lost her brother. Tanis got close to Serinada after the Innfellows separated in Tarsis. It was a strange campaign.
Another fantastic summer video. It is surprising how low level all of these characters are compared to their ages and demonstrated.skill. Tanis at 5th and Flint at 4th? Think they'd be a touch higher than Caramon! But, he does have those curls!
I dream of playing the original adventures since I was fifteen, and I would not mind playing the original PCS or totally original characters. Once I started the camping with three players, one was a plainsman fighter, anither one a Kender rogue and the third was an Elf cleric from Silvanesti.
I recently acquired a complete set of the DL series and plan to run it in a few years time. I would use AD&D1e and also Battle System, which I have a copy of. Not sure if I will go with the existing or original heroes at this stage.
Great video ras really was a weak ass mage back then. What was he at start of his career lv one mean nerd. 😂 . Really book one tanis thanks his magic got a lot stronger when he cast sleep

Thank you for watching today's Dragonlance Setting episode. Were you unfamiliar with any of the presented heroes? Leave a comment below!
I met both Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman at Gen Con. They were very nice and signed my book
I met them before I even know who they were, as my friend was a huge fan of theirs. Then, I read their books and was a fan.
They are great!

There is only the information from the modules.
Very cool video
Thank you for watching!

haha omg, that's wild!
How did Tanis end up with Serinda? What happened between Laurana and Tanis?

Oh that’s cool!

yea, it's really interesting playing them in the original modules.

Very cool! I’m doing the same, just slowly :)
How is Flint only a 4th level fighter but he’s old and fought so much ??
He was a craftsman most of his life not an adventurer.
4th-6th level were pretty powerful in AD&D. Characters were expected to retire around 9th-12th.
