My goal in life is to be able to work as calmly as John. What a great video. I'm in the middle of putting new bearings, ball joints, and bushings in my Sportsman 850 SP and this video helps. Thank you!
Great video. It makes things easier to know the driver size. One set that was missing was the removal of the hub from bearing carrier. This step was challenging, seeing how a pro does it might have helped. Thanks again.
Great Video. Only thing I can add is once you get hub assembly off those torx screws are extremely tight. You'll need to heat them with a torch to burn off locktite then with dead blow hammer hit it to separate it
I'm having trouble finding a video on changing the REAR wheel bearings. Do you have one? This one is awesome for the fronts, but I am having trouble with the rear ones.
So I am a little confused about the bearing washers still. It looked like you were putting the cupping to bow out in the middle. Or is it supposed to bow in in the middle. I'm not seeing it as beveled but cupped.
what exactly is that socket thing in which the bearing drops in? is it the same thing used for support using under side when pressing in the bearing? where can i find it?
damn, I can only find one caliper mount for one side. and I don't know if its the left or right. I cant even tell if that brake mount is universal or not.
@@PartzillaPartsI’ve been looking at a bunch of different driver sets and haven’t seen a single one that includes these cups. Can you help point me in the right direction?

It is a pure relax watching you at work John.
Sometimes if u can’t find just the right size driver you can use the old bearing to press the new one in.
Would be nice if you showed separating the hub from the rotor assembly.
Man this guy makes good videos.

Great video... all productive... no nonsense... thanks so much.

What if you don't have that fancy bearing pusher tool.

What size bearing driver did you use to push out the old bearing and what size to press in the new bearing?
Will these torque values apply to a 2017 Ranger xp 1000 with the same problem? thanks
why did you leave out how you got the brake rotor part off thats what i need to know!
Once you get the hub off, you just remove the four screws that hold the rotor on.
Where did you get the drive on UTV lift table?
Question, when you reinstalled the castle nut washers, you said to install them with the bevel facing inward, is that correct ?
Reverse that. Flat side toward attaching part, beveled side towards nut.
Partzilla thanks for clarifying it, I’ll change mine now👍
How do you change the front wheel bearings on a Polaris Ranger 400 high output 2014 and it's a 4 wheel drive
Same general concept.
But i got a 2016 ranger 570 help
This is not Johns first rodeo.
CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THAT BRONZE CUP IS YOUR USING
It's part of a bearing driver set. So you can tap it in and counter sink it.
