Picked up this camera at St Vincent de Paul charity shop in unmarked "as new" condition for $6 . Needed time date backup battery plus 2 aa batteries. Works perfectly, and you can completely adjust every setting, plus a viewfinder!😊
There is a small battery in a clip near your AA batteries. You can replace that battery and it will remember the date. You can search for this info on you tube. It works with a lot of these powershots. I fixed my date and time that way.

every time i turn it on it asks me for the date and time, can i save the date and time or do i have to put it every time i turn on the camera??
